anybody with a "Basic" store subscription have any feedback on what your experience(s) have been like using promotions on your items? thanks for any input you might have.
Sellers don't need a store to use the Promotions feature. I use it and it probably helps a little by pushing or placing my items farther up in any search method. That being said you pay dearly for it in increased "promoted" sales commissions. The bottom line for successful selling is still a competitively priced item.
I use it all the time and it works great. I just sold 2 today from the promotion. I have more in promotion than auction. You don't have to use their suggest percentage in it - I always change mine to 1% and I still get all over the place. So it's great .
absolutely no luck! i tried it on about 10 items....with the lowest price added.....i found my listings about 20th in line! i called ebay and wondered why i was so far down the list of available items and they said "sponsored promotions do not guarantee any higher position"! i have 100% feedback, with above standard ratings, my items were the lowest priced items....and nothing! so confused.
