My feedback percentage keeps fluctuating between 98.8% and 98.7%, and I have done nothing in the time it's been fluctuating but receive positive feedbacks. It was back down last time I looked-- not a really big deal, but also not possible, mathematically, as far as I know. Can anyone explain this? Thanks.

Have you looked closely at your feedback page? See that little icon at the end of the line that says your feedback percentage. The little "i" with a circle around it. That is for more information. It tells you exactly how your feedback numbers for the past 12 months are calculated.
Keep in mind your feedback percentage is representative for your last 12 months. So that changes every single day. Today it would be for March 20th 2024 to March 21 2025. Tomorrow it will be March 21 2024 to March 22 2025. What ever feedback you had on the days that drop off are taken away from your calculation. The feedback that is added for the new day added affects your feedback percentage too.
This allows seller to have negative and neutral feedback fall off after it is about 12 months old.

I understand that. But why, three days ago, was the percentage 98.8%, and I've had nothing but additional positive feedbacks since then? How can it go down, in this instance?

It has nothing to do with anything YOU are doing. The number is a mathematical calculation based on the last 365 days of feedback. Go to your feedback page and notice the circled exclamation point just to the right of the 98.7. Click that mark and it will show you the exact calculation as to where that percentage comes from.
That feedback number changes daily based on 365 days. Right now you have 175 positive feedback. If you received one feedback 365 days ago but none today then tomorrow your positive feedback score would be 174 because that one from 365 days will drop off. As the number changes the mathematical calculation changes.

Because the additional feedback you just received was offset by the feedback that is now 366 days old and removed from your totals.

As the days roll by, some will fall off and some will get added. Did you read the screen shot I gave you in my other post.

Feedback performance is based on data from a rolling 365 or 366 day time period i.e. meaning the FB % can change from day to day as some may fall off or be added each daily time period how the percentage is rounded up or down**. Don't worry every thing will be alright.
**Worked for a French and Japan owned company and the rounded total different than we do in the US. Plus seem to recall that my daughter learned to round up/down different than I was taught when the "New Math" and Team work was introduced back in the 1970s - I am a '44 model. Or maybe it was because I was born/raised and educated in Michigan and she was born in Illinois but now lives in California - only The Shadow** knows.. ** click this link for explanation >>>>>>> ** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkHLf08l0JI
