Out of 208 sales in the last 12 months I have received Feedback on 32, all positive, no Negative. At this point all it would take is 1 Negative feedback and my feedback score would go to less than 97% this would drive my sales to the bottom.
Will someone at Ebay please tell me in what Universe is this a fair policy. If feedback is not received in 30-60 days it should be shown as positive on the feedback score.

97% won't drive your sales anywhere

I'm in the same boat -- feedback has gone down to nothing in the last few years I may get 1 out of 10 sales

In theory I agree with you... If buyer doesn't leave FB, it should be a positive. There are many buyers out there who do not leave FB unless there is a problem which really skews a seller's FB. There are many who post on the board that no one pays attention to seller FB (we all already know that buyer FB is worthless), so don't worry about your FB score. Not so of myself, and since there are lots of folks out there just like me, I think buyers do still pay attention.
BUT.... be careful what you wish for. There are also many buyers out there who do not want to leave bad FB but do not wish to reward a seller for a less than stellar transaction so they just don't leave FB at all. If eBay were to implement a new policy that after 60 days the seller automatically left a positive, these buyers may be inclined to actually leave FB. And you many not like the FB they leave.

Unless it were a single negative that caused such a low score as is with the OP.... I wouldn't touch them with a ten foot pole. YES, some of us still look at FB scores.

Every time someone posts a similar message like yours, I feel compelled to give you this information.
If/when eBay would ever decide to leave positive FB for any seller on the basis of the fact that I've not left it within a certain time period, I am done with eBay. Why? Because there are times when, as a buyer, I am not entirely 100% pleased with my purchase, but it's not important enough to trash someone's FB about it. Perhaps some minor flaw or a problem in how my transaction was handled. So I just do not leave any FB at all.
No, I certainly do not want eBay evaluating my purchases and deciding that I needed to leave a positive FB. There is a reason, folks, that I did not leave any FB at all and I want eBay to respect that.

I had a buyer and USPS was taking a long time to deliver.
They buyer accused me of being a scammer and used the fact that I had not received a positive in weeks even though I had sold a dozen things........
It did show up, they didn't leave me a negative, but they also never apologized for the accusation.

^^THIS^^
The only time I don't leave a seller feedback is in situations like this. If I knew Ebay would automatically leave a positive, I would be forced to leave the neg or neut. Otherwise, the only time I leave negs is when sellers lie and do a buyer requested cancellation when I didn't ask for one.

This is why I advocate for a couple changes.
1. Do away with buyer Feedback completely. Most if not all other similar sites have moved away from this a long time ago.
2. Feedback numbers and percentages should be based on total TRANSACTIONS not the number of FB received. That is putting way too much power into the hands of a few.
Many sellers experience a 25-30 % FB rate from buyers. So that means that about 1/4 to 1/3rd of buyers control our ratings. Completely unfair and simply incorrect information.
