eBay is increasing their fees again? eBay makes more than I do on a lot of my sales . Pure greed.

But wouldn't it be fair to say that your desire to keep more of your money is also greed?
Ebay wants more money = Greed.
Seller wants more money = Not greed.
Well said. I say the same thing often. I don't understand what the difference is.
For many of us, we just got the first FVF rate increase since 2020 or when they entered Managed Payments. I know some categories may have had some increases between then and now, but for the categories I sell in there has been no FVF increases since I entered Managed Payments in August of 2020.

The averages are skewed. It has been my experience working in the financial services industry for the majority of my working career that a small percentage of the people that have retirement savings have a lot but most people have very little retirement savings.

One also needs to look at what debt people have when they retire what life style they want when they do. When folks retire they are more subject to frequent visits to the doctors visits, time spent in the hospitals and standing in line at the pharmacy (a new social network gathering) - retired in 2007. One can be very surprised at what happens to your body after you get your Medicare Card - hint old age ain't for sissies - those Drs. and Specialists, Hospitals make a lot of $$$.

I used to spend time at weddings, baptisms, housewarming parties.
Now it's doctor's appointments and funerals.

And to add to that, they plan on putting EVERYONE on payout holds until 3 days after delivery confirmation.

I stopped selling here years ago and found other places to sell where I don't have to worry about all the nonsense that goes on here like high fees, managed payments, scammers.

100% profit? That’s child’s play… try 500-1000% profit

I've sold on multiple sites for years. Some sites charge less and some charge MORE. Most sellers here never even take a moment to compare pricing, they just assume Ebay is the most expensive.

You are right, some sellers do make very good profit margins. But they are the exception, not the rule.
