eBay is increasing their fees again? eBay makes more than I do on a lot of my sales . Pure greed.

no

Perhaps they should relocate to Texas or a state with no tax and lower costs.

I'm not familiar with Ebay Motors or how often their fees increase. When was the last time you had an increase in the FVF and by how much?
For me, the last time my FVFs increased was back when I entered Managed Payments in August 2020.
I know Ebay has increase FVFs in some categories that didn't affect me, so I'm just asking.

If this is a real game changer - ya' one must be doing something(s) not right Oh the humanity!
"starting February 14, 2025, with increases ranging up to a maximum of 0.35%".
Now if you are talking about the price of eggs - that is a different story

It's less than a half percent for most categories. If you can't get your buyer to pay for it you're doing it wrong. If ebay is making more than you, and you doing much more work, then certainly doing something wrong. I shoot for 50% net at least. My buyers pay it.

Lived in Texas Waco & Houston for 14 years - property taxes are high and electric is very high thru those co-ops and use that A/C a whole lot on those 3 digit days with 90% humidity (and mildew). Yes you can cook an egg on the side walk and water skied on New Years Day. Plus, here in GA we haven't gone to 26 lanes Interstate road (I-10 Katy freeway). But you can't beat their BBQ, or Tex-Mex with a Lone Star and the local people and good friends. And Friday nights dancing on corn meal floors, two stepping and doing the Cotton Eyed Joe followed by the Schodish with your best gal wearing TAJ**,, some times on Saturday night too.

Anything to please the shareholders. They can do whatever they want when they essentially have monopolized the e-commerce industry.

Sure they are.
EVERYTHING is going up.
Inflation. It's been in all the news.
Some don't believe in it ... but, it doesn't matter if you're a believer or not. You still get the effect.
Haven't you raised your prices in the last months?

Maybe twenty years ago. I'd check a calendar but I'd say a lot of things have happened since. Are we still on Myspace too? Maybe via Netscape?

Not all shareholders have a ton of shares, smoking fat cigars and flying around on private jets.
I have a medium-sized 401k, which supports myself and mid 70-year-old wife.
It pays rent, doctors' bills, Rx, food, smoke, and liquor.
If I didn't have that ... YOU would be paying for all that in increased taxes.
Would you rather we do it that way?
Or should I support myself with the investments and savings?

The problem is according the Federal Reserves they did a survey on savings for retirement a few years back. According to the survey less than 50% of Americans age 50 and over have more than $50,000.00 in their retirement accounts.

We would not be paying for ALL that.
Food stamps and welfare and shelters do not replace a medium-sized 401K.
You would be getting by with less food, smokes and liquor - or going hungry.

I think you meant UNDER 50. Over 50 is much higher.

No, I would not.
I would come to your house, with a hundred gray-haired seniors and snarling Yorkshire Terriers, riding on our three-wheel runabout choppers, and swarm YOU. I can find your stash of fine bourbons and top-shelf smoke.
Seriously though. If you think people are going to stay home and quietly starve ... I believe you to be wrong.
Do you REALLY want this gang of OG Miscreants on your front lawn?

Ebay wants more money = Greed.
Seller wants more money = Not greed.
