Sorry to ask again, I know this has been asked but I can't find the question to see if it was answered.
Do we have EBay *confirmation* that the FedEx Ground/Home Delivery divisor will be 166 (instead of 139)?
Will the (almost useless) SmartPost divisor also be 166?

Thanks.
It is confirmed by Triton that the divisor for FedEx Ground/Home Delivery is 166 in his post here https://community.ebay.com/t5/Shipping-Returns/FedEx-Smartpost-Pricing-More-than-Doubled/td-p/280172...

For the longest time, I also thought his name was "Triton" until I couldn't find it in an "@" lookup... and realized it was Trinton. 🙂

It was also confirmed by Trinton that the Smartpost 2018 divisor would be 166 - it just hasn't happened yet.
Also. in my other post, I determined that FedEx Express services divisor is currently 139, but based on the calculated estimate vs the eBay label cost, it appears it is probably supposed to be 166 also, but has not been changed (the estimating, search. listing. and checkout calcs are using 166, but labels is using 139). That could use a Trinton confirmation also.

Both of those state 139 as the divisor. I think I'll trust FedEx's website.

You would be wrong with that simplistic view.
Just as the FedEx divisors in 2017 on eBay were 166 when FedEx was 139, once again, eBay's negotiated divisors are 166 as Trinton stated (and I've shown doing the math).

â– Smartpost divisor is SUPPOSED to be 166 but is still 139
â– Buyers are still being charged too low non-dimensional weight Smartpost amounts
â– FedEx Express services divisor is currently 139 in the label flow, but I suspect is
supposed to be 166. The estimating, search, listing, checkout is using 166 and
undercharging buyers. The 166 value has not been verified by Trinton/eBay.
All the above are as of last time I checked on 2/3/18 10am
In summary:
â– only service using the 166 divisor for actual labels at this time is FedEx Ground/Home Delivery
â– All the FedEx services are using the 166 divisor to estimate/charge buyers except Smartpost which is ignoring dim weight entirely.

Thanks, I realize all that and I am staying away from Fedex (it is smartpost that really interests me) for now, until everything gets sorted out.

(it is a complicated mess, and many times when I respond and look at the problems I discover a new aspect, or see something new so updated summarizing should help)
