It appears you are a brand new seller, selling expensive jewelry.

Easy equation. Find "X."

New, inexperienced seller + $1,200 and $4,000 rings = X

lst.........do NOT show the wedding band if it's not included........

2.00 Carat Emerald Cut 3 Stone Diamond Engagement Ring set in White Gold H-1 VS2. Condition is Pre-owned. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.

could be read as "the set" (both ) in White gold........

If you've never sold here before, you are taking a risk.......  your best bet is to list it as fixed price (not auction) with immediate payment required...... meaning someone actually has to PAY for the item before it's considered sold.

Change your photos. You have four photos showing two rings but in your description you say "This is for the engagement ring only, not the wedding band seen in photos"  Why even have photos of the wedding band if it's not included?

Buyers don't read descriptions.

Looking at your listing and seeing two rings in your photos I would venture to say that buyers would expect two rings, not one ring.

If you sell something over $750 you will need to get a signature on delivery. Does first class have a signature option?

Hi, welcome to the forum.

There is no way to avoid the fraudsters, i am afraid. The problem is that your low feedback number makes you vulnerable to scammers as it signals you are a new seller. Add in the expensive goods and you have the perfect combination the scammers look for and prey upon.

Selling on eBay is not simple. There are pitfalls that many new members are unaware of. I rarely suggest a poster shouldn't sell here, but you are unlikely to get the outcome you desire. Instead, you could lose both the ring and the funds. It happens and eBay is not interested in protecting the seller’s interests. They favor the buyer.

So take your listing down and either build up some feedback, or sell locally for cash. Sorry i could not be more encouraging. Good luck to you.
