FVF and opening a new basic ebay store question

I had over $400 in fees last month, I want to open  a basic store to get a little bit of a discount,

If I want to make them apply to my open listings now can I just end all my listings now, open a Basic store and then relist all my listings so that all my buy it nows will have the store discount fee?

If I leave them as is wont I still get charged 10% for everything sold after I opned my store because the listings were done b4 I opened?

This says  Your Stores benefits start immediately, including your free-insertion-fee listing allotment for the month, but i want to make sure when I opne that my existing BIN will get the discounted FVF for the store.

Thanks

In order to get the store FVF, you do have to end the listings and re-list them.  Listings that began before you sign up for the store will still have the 10% no-store FVF rate.

Are you sure that you are going to save money with a store? Have you used the store fee calculator? It looks like most or all of your listings will be charged a store fvf of 9.15% so that isn't that much of a difference from 10%.

You just have 22 listings up now so unless you are planning on relisting a lot more, a store may cost you more.

Hi @shielahs

No unfortunately, fee amounts are based on the terms in effect when the listing went live.

Here's a thread that discusses the same question you are asking if you want more info.  (Just ignore any mention of GTC listings, as it doesn't make any difference. The bottom line is the same: https://communit)y.ebay.com/t5/Selling/New-Ebay-Store-no-discount-on-Final-Value-Fees/td-p/26592605

OP said she paid $400 in fees last month, which means $4000 in sales.  At the store rate of 9.15%, her fees would have been $366, i.e., a savings of $34 so that would more than cover the cost of a Store (if her sales volume is  the same).

You're right, it would mean $4000 in sales if all of their fees were for fvf and I have no way of knowing that.  When I glanced at their sold items in February it seemed like less than that but that isn't necessarily accurate and math isn't my forte anyway.  That's why I give links...I'm better at that!  🙂

Most of her Sold listings are for multiple items.

Ok. Like I said, the sold pages are not always accurate.  They are more accurate if each listing is opened to see if the sale was a multiple.
