I have no idea about how a lot of File Exchange works and the documentaion is so poor that I just can't work it out.
Is it possible to export a current listing in csv format to use for a new listing through File Exchange?

There's a lot more information on File Exchange in the Tools & Apps forum.
If I understand your question, no you can't easily export a single listing and then use that for a new imported listing. It can be done but it's easier to hit "Sell Similar".

Hi @oopminiatures, while File Exchange can export active listings, the CSV file does not include all of the listing data. This means that the listing basically needs to be created all over again if you want to do it this way. If you have questions about File Exchange, go here or contact the File Exchange team at turbodata@ebay.com.

Ah thank you very much guys for your replies.
I find it rather confusing as to why there isn't more information on this, at least easily accessiable.
I have over 500 items to list, all in a spreedsheet format. Which is why I am after using the File Exchnage for listing them, then going through and adding images to them after you see.
I will likely have to email the team directly then.

Ok, I've actually DONE that successfully. You have to reformat your data to match the spec and there are some fields that are mandatory. A URL to a photo is one of them. I used a URL that pointed to a "Picture Coming soon" image and then updated the listings.
I used the basic template for mine, but that was before Item Specifics were very important so I'd try the Items Specfics Category template. The PDF attached to the Basic Template has the info on which fields are required and so forth.
