I know what refurbished means, but why is it in clothing listings. I didn't know clothing could be refurbished. I clicked on it, and it takes me to my listing. Which is new with tags. Don't understand the purpose.

Don't forget the refurbished tampons and toilet paper.
(I will admit, I haven't checked lately to see if they are still displaying that way)

Just when you think it can't get any more scrood up - ebay will find a way. And usually just before the holidays!
Hey I sold some bubble mailers here once, it offered me Condition: Used and For Parts Only.
I know at some point, at least in some categories, eBay was limiting "New - Refurbished" to only items that had been "professionally" refurbished by "authorized" vendors. Which I supsect is what is going on here... "Refurbished" means "Returns/Defective - Inspected and/or Repaired As Needed".
