A buyer purchased a Michael Kors Handbag and then claimed she received a Kate Spade wallet. Ebay denied the return after evidence submitted. She then file complaint with Paypal and they allowed return. The buyer sent back a cheap Merona handbag from an address that doesn't exist. I've done what I can on my end, and working with Paypal, but they still refunded her. I'm hoping Paypal does the right thing and give me the money back. I filed the IC3 complaint as well.
I sure hope you guys read this and block this user.
I can't believe Paypal's processes are so screwed up. I have to admit at least EBAY saw the fraud, and there must be a ton of idiots working at Paypal.
I hope other money transfer and payment acceptance methods become available so I can stop using Paypal. I even called and spoke to them and uploaded what I received back which wasn't even what she claimed she got and they still refunded her and closed the case. Paypal is a joke and should be sued.

You cannot name and shame here.
Self report your post.
Then repost minus the personal info and maybe someone can help you.
This happened to another poster with an expensive bag, and people here were able to help her get justice.

Wow. You need to read the rules before you land in serious trouble! Aside from
Naming and shaming here, You left a false positive for the buyer, that’s a big NO NO! You better hope she doesn’t report you!

SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME....JUST DIFFERENT SELLER....SEE MY NEW POST

Then how do other members know who to watch out for? If you can't expose them, then what is the purpose of this community?

Because EBAY screwed up and doesn't allow negative for a buyer....wake up people. The rules are being rigged to facilitate fraud instead of stopping it. Exposing them is the way to stop it, not protect them any crazy way someone can dream up.

Ebay doesn't allow us to name and shame each other publicly in their community. When it comes to feedback there is no shaming and no false positives for buyers allowed. If you want to warn others, it cannot be done on ebay. I understand your anger and I hope paypal refunds you. In situations like this, getting sanctioned for breaking a rule only adds salt to your wounds. Thats why I pointed out the feedback you left. I hate to see sellers get the shaft and then sanctioned for something as silly as naming & shaming & false negative feedback.

The purpose of this community is for people to get advice and help. Would you like it if someone came here and told everyone YOU were a scammer? How are people supposed to know who is telling the truth in any situation? There would be nothing to stop people shaming totally innocent trading partners.

It's really bad when people are more afraid of breaking eBay's rules than in outing a scammer. Think about it.

I'm curious as to why eBay took your side. How did they know that the buyer wasn't telling the truth?

Because we know that if you break ebay's rules your selling here may come to an end.
And your "scammer" may be my good buyer.
A large majority of sales are BIN, we don't know who the buyer is until after the fact.

I know. Because eBay has everyone afraid, like the citizens of North Korea. 🙂 Or perhaps a better analogy is the abused women in Hollywood who are still trying to maintain their careers so are afraid of speaking out. It's just a sad state, you know? I've been on eBay for a long time, I remember when it was SO much better .....

To compare the abuse of women to selling on ebay is just wrong.
We sell here of our own free will, No one makes us stay.

No.
Posters who follow the rules don't do it because of being "afraid".
We recognize that these boards only get a couple dozen new posts a day,
from eBayers who need help with their problems.
If eBay allowed posts about "watch out for this exact buyer (by name)"...
then there could be hundreds, if not thousands of such threads daily here
and No one would be able to get any realistic help from the Community here.

Possibly some sellers would out their best buyers so as to eliminate their competition.
