Error when adding authorized used. Cannot add anyone.

Hello fellow sellers,

For some reason I am unable to add any authorized users on my account. Even the authorized user I had before, who does work-from-home listings remotely, had their account disabled. 

I just get a big red error symbol without any writing.

Is anyone else having issues adding an authorized user issues? I called eBay and they escalated the issue to the IT department but still no results. My employee is twiddling thumbs at home and I am behind on listings.

Does anyone have a solution or workaround?

Chances are the person who you were referred to speak to was not an IT.  Customer service is infamous for fibbing and giving out the wrong info.

These are credible US cs agents that actually work for Ebay and are more likely help you with your issue. Many positive outcomes posted here in their ability to be helpful.

I've had this problem since 10/31. I spoke with overseas help and an American.  Still no fix.

I called ebay and created a ticket for IT and they fixed it in 3 days.  Tell them to send the ticket to the IT department.  I hope that helps.

So, I followed your FB link and then what? Send a message via FB messenger? I did, with my Username and just asked for the MUAA access to be restored - got an autoreply, does not seem hopeful. Did you create an actual FB post?  A lot of American companies seem to suddenly get responsive when you tweet at them - like a public shaming of sorts - is that the strategy here?  I don't understand how colossally incompetent the customer service can be when this is a profit driving business, and they get monies on all the sales, right??
