I listed two vintage glass Alka-Seltzer bottles for $10. I got two messages from someone with offers. One offer was for $8.56 and the next offer was for $9.56. The bottles are from my grandmother's home at which we are having an auction now. My mom said just cancel the online stuff and we'll sell it at the auction. There was 11 seconds left in the sale and I ended the listing. Now I have someone who is messaging me and yelling at me because they were trying to buy it for the $10. I don't want to send it to this person because they're sending me messages in all capital letters that they are demanding I send it to them. So what do I do?

Well I see you relisted them, makes your question here pointless now. If you don't want to deal with offers, you can remove that option.

The guy wanted an invoice and I was trying to figure out how to do it. I thought if I relisted it then I could create an invoice.

The only way to sell items on eBay is through a Sold listing. You can't just directly send an invoice if there isn't already a transaction with the buyer. If he wants to purchase the item, he can purchase it through your listing. Or you can listen to your mom and end the relist auction, too.
You have no obligation to any member who has not actually purchased your item. It's OK to ignore the demands of a sore loser. Personally as an experienced seller I would not want to deal with a buyer who has demonstrated that they have a short fuse when something goes wrong, especially if they were purchasing an item made of glass. So I think you should end the new listing too nd hand over the bottles to mom.

You are under no obligation to answer that persons messages. If they are rude just ignore them, that's pretty much all you can do. They are just messages after all. Best of luck to you....

I suggest you spend just a little time reading up on how to sell on this platform. There are many tricks and tips that will help you out and get you some nice prices for your items. Rather then just listing, then pulling, then relisting, spend a few minutes reading up on how best to resolve these. You will fair much better in the end. Best of luck to you....

That is a terrible thing to do and without a reserve I believe actually against the law. Never screw over buyers like that at auction. Next time let it run its' course or start at a higher opening bid.

? The angry member hadn't yet bid on the auction.
