Sorry to sound like I'm venting, but I feel a need to say something. Not sure if anyone else has noticed, but the influx of international sellers has grown considerably. From what I can see on the boards, eBay is failing miserably to vet and educate these sellers of the rules and requirements needed to integrate into a US-based platform. Just an observation for what it's worth.

eBay has a very extensive support website for export sellers (those who are selling into a different market than where they are based). The information is available, but they can't force export sellers to read it or assimilate it, any more than they can force USA sellers to do so.

It's not like there aren't plenty of US-based sellers who aren't aware of the rules and requirements needed to integrate into a US-based platform. I'm not sure how this "influx" of international sellers moves this needle.

Yep, that makes sense. I might add that my observations have only been based on what I read off the boards, which isn't much of a "worldwide" perspective.

It has gone down a lot lately, but do you remember the flood of Sri Lanka sellers on these boards in 2023/2024?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.
(I do too.)

The Sri Lanka sellers will be back when we take over the country and turn it into the Riviera of the Indian Ocean.
