I recently sold an item and before it was even delivered, I received positive feedback from the buyer. Although it was "positive" feedback, she said there was a crushed candy and some stains inside. She then messaged me to apologize, saying that the feedback was for a purse she had ordered and had not received her wallet yet. I asked if she would contact ebay to have the feedback removed. She is older and not well versed in using the ebay app on her phone (which is all she has). She said she did contact them and request it to be removed, but it remains. I've tried contacting ebay, using their "online" support, etc., etc. They are impossible to contact. In the meantime, she received the item she purchased from me, "loves" it, and I am left with feedback that looks like I misrepresented an item a sold. Anyone have any ideas on how to actually contact ebay about this? ANY time I call, they say it is "outside of their normal business hours". Unfortunately, they never say what their normal business hours actually are. For someone who has been selling on here and contributed to their revenue for quite some time, this is poor customer service.

eBay won’t remove positive feedback. As long as it is positive why worry about it. No one will pay any attention to, unless you call attention to it by replying. Just let it alone it will roll to the next page eventually.

IDK if it will work, but you can try this. I have had GREAT success with this method, as have many people I reccomend it to, including one last week. I would say something like, " I realize this is a positive, but it reflects negatively on me as a seller". Go here, follow the links & I've usually had it removed within an hour. Note they say they'll LYK, but that's never happened with me, I just check back in an hour & it's gone.

Very few people actually read any feedback and most of those are checking negs not positives.
You could ask her to add a Reply but that would just draw attention to the FB.
Let sleeping dogs lie.
If it really drives you crazy, wait until the FB is number 40 or so on your page and add your own Reply which you can do indefinitely.
Since the default is 25 FB per page, it will be effectively invisible, unless someone is both using a longer list and reading Positive comments.
Both unlikely.

@fatcatzadventures Just to add, if they can read the messages she sent you that it's FB for the wrong person, be sure to tell them to check your messages to see that. And LMK if it works, I'm curious. I don't care what anyone else says, that FB would bother me too. Good luck!

I don't understand the reasoning behind leaving a Reply to the feedback without mentioning it was left for the wrong seller.
If you are unable to have the comment removed via @simply-the-best-for-you recommendation ... you can ask the buyer to leave a Follow up to the feedback.
>> This feedback was left for the WRONG seller!!! I'm so very sorry. <<

I never heard of a positive being removed but see if you can send her a feedback revision form and ask her to edit the comment. I know that she can NOT change it to NEG. or Neutral but she can change the comment.

I just saw the comment and it's already getting lower on the page because you got new feedback. If she can't revise it, I would not worry too much. I see that you commented something and now it looks like you are trying to hide something. Anyway, if she can't change the comment, don't worry too much since it will get buried under newer feedback.

JMO, but I would NOT waste one of my few revision requests on a positive. But yeah, that follow-up is not ideal.

I am sure you have better things to do than worry about the wording on a Positive Feedback. I have received several feedback directed to other sellers. All positive though. It will get buried soon and few people read positive feedbacks. Only the bad ones customers look for. Just move on. Happy Sales
