Ebay takes fees out of combined shipping refunds

Hi all,

I just went over my June transactions and noticed eBay took 13% for fees when I refunded for a combined shipping discount.  It happened 3 times.   Any other way to reimburse buyers without being charged double fees like that?

That doesn't sound right. Are you sure you are reading that correctly?

@cambriachickebay started refunding fees for partial refunds at the end of May this year. The FVF you're seeing is probably actually a credit for the partial refund you issued. Can you post a screen shot of the latest line you're seeing for this transaction?

A positive number in the 'Ebay Final Value Fee', column Z of the MP Reports, is actually a 'credit'.

I think you are reading your numbers wrong....(unless there was a mistake)

Sometimes accounting looks like advanced algebra with debits and credits....
