Ebay is constantly mistreating its members which reached a peak of my frustration with recent change in selling page outlook. Before that, they **bleep** me with inefficient customer service which just became totally non-existent. The customer service chat is offline and the only still operating phone number deals only with accounting hacking issues and nothing else. We are on our own, yet they charge fees as if the business is running as usual.
Like many others here, I can't tolerate being humiliated anymore and I wonder which good selling sites would you recommend for taking my business over there?
Thanks.

Dude, first off, calm down. And can everyone stop with the spitting. This thread is already disgusting as it is with all the talk of spit. Geez. Trust me, eBay isn't losing a wink of sleep (or money) by our angry posts. (Trust me, I know) and I can assure you, they know when CS is down and stuff.
I take it that most likely you are upset about something in particular? In any case, you have to roll with the changes. You just HAVE to. eBay won't shut down because you leave, my brother.
I too, had difficulty with the seller $hit hub. But as I said, you gotta make due. Yes, it is sorta cluny and takes more time, but you gotta just get used to it. I did.
I now live in the orders tab, and nothing else. Occassionally, once a day, at the end of the day, I click on the "payments" tab to see how much money I made for the day, but I mostly live in my orders page. I occassionally look at my stats on the main page, but thats rare.
What I personally do, is I made myself get used to always clicking the "sell" button way, way at the top of the page, next to the "my eBay" link. It should always land you on the orders page once clicked.
That's what I do.
Seriously, I think it's high time we stop complaining about change and embrace it. Yes, it isn't perfect, but you spend more energy being mad at something the company has no present plans on changing.
For this, you waste your time. Spend that time listing items and selling my friend.
This is what I came to terms with, and now honestly, it doesn't bother me as much as it did at first.

First of all your title for this post sounds like a great line for a Russian movie character. The boss asked Igor "what happened at the meeting?.
". He replied, "Ebay spit us in the face."
Beyond that what has changed on your selling page that makes life so hard on ebay? I haven't noticed any changes recently. I have three ways to finish any process I need to to list, sell and collect profits by being here.
Has nothing ever changed in your life before that you didn't adapt to? Does it take three clicks instead of two to find something?

They have heaped all this mistreatment and humiliation on you, yet you remain in this abusive relationship. Why?
Closing your account is always just a click or 2 away - it's fast, safe and anonymous - no one has to know you left, unless you tell them.

I tagged your post. You will see that there are many many angry sellers in regards to eBay's new selling page. I have seen a few sellers actually pull down their listings over this.
I am tagging these posts to show a commonality in hopes that they will at least modify the new page to give us everything back on one page and get rid of these horrendous tabs.
I've used the Seller Hub for years. It does take some getting use to, but once I taught myself how to customize it, I got along with it a lot better. I now actually like it.
But for casual sellers I can see where it offers way too much information. Far more than they would ever likely use.
I used BOTH, the page and the hub. Each format had traits that I liked and found useful.
I had customized my hub as well. The thing that everyone seemed to like about the old seller's page was that everything was on one page that was easy to view. In a glance I could tell what I needed to do for the day.
The new all selling page is useless since everything has been chopped up into tabs.
The all selling view in the hub is not as well laid out as the old selling page. Instead of easy to glance icons, everything is worded so now I have to stop and r-e-a-d instead of glance...it is not as efficient for many.
I love all of the added info that is in the hub (which is the reason that I do use the hub.)
Can I use the hub? Yes.
Is it as efficient for my daily work needs? No.
We have several larger sellers who are very upset about the inefficient layout of the new selling page and find the seller's hub layout to be inefficient as well.
Now, I am happy that you are one of the larger sellers. I wish that you could remember the old selling page. I would like to ask you and other larger sellers if the hub's all selling view works for them. If so or not, why? (the all selling view seems to be the issue at hand for most sellers)
I am trying to get an idea as to why or why not certain formats work for them or not.
Any insight of your is valuable.
Thank you for any input that you have.
I remember the old selling page. I liked it very much too. I've just been using SH for so long that I'm accustomed to it and don't have an issue using it.
What specifically do you not like? Maybe that is the approach we should take. I have been away from the threads for awhile due to some personal issues, so I'm confident I've missed a lot.

Beyond anyone knowing if we close our account nobody really cares whether a specific seller who rants about leaving like a child screaming over lima beans at the dinner table closes their selling account. That was a poorly structured sentence yet I am not editing much of what I write this morning.
The conclusion about ranters on ebay message forums is that the more you rant the younger you appear and the more important on-line bulletin boards seem to be in their lives. People are suffering huge atrocities around the world, yet during a pandemic ebay seems to be the central ilk in many people's lives today.
My guess is that in 2023 when the current Covid-19 pandemic is truly behind us the ranting on-line will subside for a moment. Thousands of sellers who supposedly quit will be back with another user name selling the same things they sell today with one big change. When they will files their taxes they will include all the 1099-Ks they received from all the on-line selling platforms from which they earn extra income.
For the time being let the ranting continue because people need an outlet it's much safer to rant on-line than to do it in line at a grocery store or at the register at Pete's coffee.

Just one small correction. You called this forum "ebay message forums", which it is not. Threads are part of the Community Discussion Forums.

Duly noted.
