Well ebay siding with the buyers 100% of the time is getting out of hand. Ship an item same day it is paid for provide Fedex tracking buyer able to track package to his doorstep. Pa. He knew what day it was going to arrive. Then buyer claims wheres my item? Fedex tracking reveals item delivered to your doorstep. Now he opens a case which he should have never won since tracking proves item was shipped and delivered. This is a new one. Buyers can all start saying I didn't receive my item although tracking reveals otherwise and then they can get a full refund. Sounds like Free Stuff to me. How high are ebay fees going to get when they have to refund who know how many buyers money for items that they did receive but won't admit to it? So he is able to get his $ back with no money out of my pocket so they informed me. I get a negative feedback out of this then he keeps item and gets money back. I get a negative after he gets fully refunded and you know he kept the item. I did everything quickly and as professionally as a buyer is expected to do. Then ebay wants to charge me 5% more in selling fees because of this one item not going well. **bleep** Ebay. Nobody packs better ships quicker or describes more honestly than I do and you want to penalize me? Check the fedex tracking number and stick to your old rules once item is tracked & marked delivered responsibilty now lies with the buyer. Penalize the user who cost you almost $300. Basically a buyer is able to receive the item say that he did not receive it then get a full refund? He didn't wish to return the item because it was perfect so he found a way to keep the item and get a full refund. I have always heard once tracking reveals item delivered end of case and buyer lost. Not anymore. Buyers are way more important than sellers at least in the eys of ebay. I guess the answer is items should be shipped directly to fedex / ups office & buyer should have to present ID in order to pick item up so no confusion as to who actually received the item. Otherwise anyone could sign for it if sent directly to residence.

If you have tracking that states delivered you should have won any case the buyer opened. Did you upload tracking into the open case?

@tonia.cobb
Did you respond to the claim and provide the tracking number showing the item was delivered?

s far as I know there IS NO AUTOMATIC REFUND for a person claiming an INR when tracking shows delivered. This apply to Ebay and Pay Pal. You have to enter the tracking number into your case and follow through with the open case. If you do not do this it closes in the buyers favor. The only other thing that might have happened and you were not too specific about this, is that Fed Ex being notorious for leaving packages on the wrong doorstep, could have done this and the buyer really did not have the package. Signature tracking is important to have to avoid misdelivery. Apparently,you got a courtesy refund from Ebay becauses of this. They do not usually refund a buyer when an item is shown with tracking uploaded that it is delivered. This might have been a special case.
