Hey all, Ebay had sent me a 90 dollar invoice for an item that was never sold but had the auction cancelled due to wrong item description. There is no one available to contact on the phone due to COVID19, what can I do to avoid being unfairly charged for this? I don't even know who to contact or dispute with in ebays case.

If there were bids on the item when you canceled it I'm pretty sure you have to pay a FVF even if the item didn't sell.
But the ones that do auctions more than I do will be along with better info, I'm sure.

You can reach out to eBay customer service via email, Twitter or their Facebook page. To access the email, go to Help & Contact on any page and follow the prompts. Also, I have heard good things about help given via eBay social media. Good luck and hope it gets resolved quickly.

Can you explain exactly whay you mean when you say it "had the auction canceled"?
If the auction had bids and you canceled the auction, you are still liable for final value fees on the high bid as if it had sold.

The other thing is that even if there was a credit issued, if the sale and the credit were in different billing periods the original fee would still be showing.
If the original charge was on the April invoice the credit might be showing under current charges/credits for May.
