Sold my $1200 brand new seal graphic card and buyer claimed a return. He said there is no graphic card inside the box. There are only 2 hdd. Also recorded himself unbox the package which was torn off 1 side .email ebay and they answer accept the return and refund buyer within 5 days after I got the item back. The way they do this is calling everyone just comes to ebay and buy free stuff by doing the same thing as that scammer did to me.

yup I did the same thing and ebay actually refunded me and the buyer. Still a little **bleep** the buyer got their money back but at least I was made whole. I was actually thinking of setting up a camera on my packing station but then thought why bother, i'm sure they will just say I removed it off camera.
Lately i've been getting a lot of package not received claims, not sure if they are legit or USPS/UPS are just screwing up. Still waiting on the GPS delivery scan info from USPS on them right now.
also the extended return window is not a good thing, it's good in theory but it opens up a whole new level of scam. I know that my one return is just using the product for a month then having an additional 21 days (i think) to use it before shipping it back. I'm really getting tired of it but the alternatives are not any better.

Did you try filing a claim against the buyer for not receiving your item back. (empty box) I had this happen that a buyer returned a package with just tissue and no product back. Ebay gave me a refund and refunded her too. You need to try talking-emailing to a supervisor, don't just take the first cs response. They supposedly have a seperate dept for these kind of scams.

OP doesn't accept returns so they are hosed regardless. Also eBay will say they have no way to prove what was sent. I don't think this is a high enough value item to get any special attention from eBay either. Sadly the lower value items are better to get scammed on since eBay will just say sod it and eat the loss.

Yes, the return system is beyond horrible for sellers. Your buyer however is a newbee at this. They didn't need to video themselves unboxing the item. It was unnecessary and Ebay doesn't consider stuff like that as any kind of evidence of anything.
