Ebay ruining members' life

I have been a ebay member for about 16 years. I never had anything restrictions or holds.  

Out of the blue ebay has been putting on hold and restrictions for days and requesting impossible things I cant do . 

Ebay has asked me to provide proof of shipping and at the same time holding the money to ship the items, which seems to me insane. 

I'm staring to suspect that ebay must be hoping people's money for investment it must be a sign ebay is sinking. 

Any suggestions I can do after explaining to them all over again I need the customer's money to ship their items.

You are in the UK and might get better answers on that board.........than on this one, where the majority of sellers are US...........  may differences in the UK/US.......

Typically, at least by US policies, held money can still be used to purchase shipping labels via eBay.  Regardless of holds, you are expected to ship items, or you'll likely end up in a far worse place.  You need to read through their instructions and do whatever they have asked, or your days on eBay are likely to be ended.

And no, eBay isn't holding your money because they're "failing".  They're holding your money because something about your selling history or current items is suspicious or because you're a new/returning seller, most likely.

Ebay isn't sinking. I'm tired of seeing these posts from people thinking Ebay is out to get them.

You ship. You upload tracking. I use Ebay to generate my shipping labels, so tracking is automatically uploaded. It's not impossible. You get the amount the buyer paid for shipping, so you can ship

If Ebay thinks you are not shipping your orders, that's a red flag. Don't take it so personally.

Are these your own artwork? Either eBay is trying to figure out where you are getting the artwork from or they are trying to get rid of you for your erotic artwork. I notice lots of people also sell erotic artwork so I don't know why they would be picking on you.

Holds are more easily triggered than in the past due to the huge increase in sellers and listings which have come with economic hard times.

Ebay has increased the trust and safety processes.

Ebay has increased the scrutiny of sellers from foreign countries who ship to the USA and has created new measures of their performance, BBE.

If your problem is not enough money to pay to ship, you are at the edge of being unable to do business by selling on Ebay.

You appear not to have other problems with your sales which have generated neutral or negative FB but many buyers never leave FB, and many buyers of erotic art might be unwilling to have themselves identified publicly as buyers of erotic art.
