Ebay removing my listings for being counterfeit but the items are Vintage & REAL !!!!!
Ebay has judged me guilty WITHOUT ANY PROOF .... " We removed this item to protect you and your buyers, because we believe it is LIKELY to be counterfeit. To make this decision we consider the details you provided about your item, reports that we receive from brands or members of the community, buyer feedback or the reasons buyers returned the item. "
"We believe it is LIKELY to be counterfeit " .... doesn't make in counterfeit ! It's NOT !
That would mean the 1000's of others like mine ON EBAY are all fake ... better remove those one's too !!!!!
NO buyer has returned one !
Not one bad feedback or comment !
On the contrary , I have 100% positive feedback , all 4478 of them !
What reports ? Let'e see them !
Ebay is a BULLY and i have no recourse !
Anyone else have this problem ?

I think you might have nailed it. If @jebster55555 put the fact purchased large amount of NOS straight from the factory or something of this nature in the description then there's the red flag.

I think the "red flag" was listing the emblems as vintage in the title and the condition as NEW.
They are vintage.
They are new ... in the sense that they were not installed on a car in the 1970-80s.
Going further , if i list them again , i'll list the condition as Used.

Thank you all for your responses !
I appreciate your time !

No, a competitor did not cause it to be removed. Were that true all sellers would be eliminating the competition. If it's been reported I believe eBay doesn't remove an item that was reported counterfeit until someone from trust and safety looks at it and gives eBay their opinion.

Do NOT relist this, used, new etc. or risk being suspended or permanently banned from selling here, forever (regardless of history).
Sounds like a VERO takedown. GM and Ford (for example) have many "rep's" scanning this site for anything that is NOT licensed.
Like 'wack-a-mole' they get who they get.
You cannot sell Anything using ANY GM or Ford (for example) names or logos on it without being licensed BY these companies. The 'counterfeit' is just a generically used.

I only looked at one and it says: 'vintage' and it says 'new'....is there such a thing?

The photos and description in the auction were my "proof" and Ebay deemed them a lie !
If there is no way for you to prove they are legit, hen you have a very easy job ahead of you ... don't list them.

eBay operates by its own set of rules within its platform, and what one considers fair is irrelevant. The word 'no' is final.
Currently, counterfeits and fakes pose a significant issue, and whether your items were questionable or not, I did not look.

I understand what you are saying .... that would mean stop selling anything i obtained second hand , at flea markets or auction.
Some of your HUSQVARNA logo stickers look suspect , are they licensed ?
I assume they are since you have a lot of that type of stuff but can you prove it ?
Sure you can you just purchased them ..... how can you prove a vintage item that has change hands multiple time is licensed ?
I know , i know , don't seell it then ..... 2/3s of ebay would have to be deleted if every item's pedigree had to be proven !
That is a loosing proposition !

I understand the GM / Ford thing .... it's not like I a sold a newly made hat with the name on it .
The GM / Ford dealerships must of had permission to use the GM and Ford "logo" on their dealership emblems ..... yes ?
If yes , my vintage items were licensed and or had permission from GM / Ford to be made !

Don't know what to tell you.
I feel for you.
There's just not a whole lot you can do.
This is ebay's playground.
We must abide by their rules - like it or not.

Agreed ! As my reply mentioned , that may have been the "Red Flag".
"New" in the sense that the dealership emblem had not been used and /or attached to a car and still had the release paper on the glue part.
Collectors may refer to this as "New Old Stock" , NOS.
So yes , a vintage item can be new.

New old stock. Though I'm not sure how that translates into eBay's listing form (it's been a while since I've had any). New old stock is definitely NOT "used", but it's also not factory-new - I'd probably just list it as 'used' to stay out of this kind of mess.

Happened to me too. I sell jibbitz. But crocs has an aggressive stronghold on the name jibbitz, like velcro doesn't allow you to use the word velcro, even though it's a generic term.
And I sell real authentic jibbitz. It clearly shows their trademark in the picture. And they still are up my ass about it. They take down my listings saying you can't use jibbitz, even though they are authentic jibbitz directly from crocs. So I have to re-submit them as crocs charms.
It would be one thing if I was selling knock-offsl jibbits. Which is completely legal. Then I could understand not using jibbits in the listing. But I'm selling actual authentic jibbitz. But crocs doesn't bother to look at the photos. They just see jibbitz in a listing that isn't theirs, and I'm automatically infringing on their copyright by having jibbitz in the title.

Actually, ALL dealerships only 'lease' the 'brand name signage' on a dealership (I used to build em' so I know the system for signage)
I purchased Emblems for Impala, Cadillac etc. from Licensed Dealers that sell stuff here, but once I buy it, unless I AM licensed (it's $3000 and up for 1 year through GM for example) then stuff got taken down and I was given the 'law office' that runs the GM Licensing; so I also understand that system.
Bottom line; vintage, old, new- since you have MORE THAN 1, you are an 'unlicensed dealer' of GM/Ford or whoever stuff.
They (CR/TM Owners- also know as 'VERIFIED owners (hence the VERO system) make the rules (not ebay, they only have to abide by copyright/registered trademark owners, or risk being sued for having 'that stuff' sell on their site)
