Ebay removed my authentic item based on being reported as fake

Out of nowhere Ebay decided to remove my listing, without contacting me, asking me for proof, without any explanation....nothing. When I contacted them, they told me the item was removed for violating their rules of authenticity. I asked them based on what did they consider a simple $37 jacket fake? They couldn't answer, instead they sent me some links to read the rules. I told them that I can provide photo/video evidence if they want me to, yet they started threatening me saying if I relist the item then my account will be suspended. Here is the jacket:

Stitched logo, 2 tags (one of them even showing the item's code), yet they still say based on some random report that it's fake. Obviously the item is genuine, no question about that. It's unfair and unprofessional to remove items without explanation, without contacting the seller and asking them to prove if it's fake or not. Yet, all the Chinese fakes can be freely sold on the site without any problems.

Same happened to me today with a Michael Kors wallet that is 100% authentic. When I asked what was the reasoning behind removing my listing, all they kept telling me was “our internal department had a hunch, we can’t reveal to you the reasoning”. What’s even more baffling to me is that eBay has SPONSERED listings from sellers clearly selling counterfeit BAPE, Comme des Garçons, Guess, etc. for a fraction of the retail price, but my pre owned wallet gets pulled for unverifiable reasons. When I brought this up with the eBay customer service rep he pretty much told me that those sellers sell in larger quantities than I do and that’s why they get a pass. Did I mention the item sold andvmy buyer has no way of even seeing the item they purchased? I have bought and sold on this platform for the last decade. As of today I’m no longer using Ebay.

Until you’re the one that gets screwed by them, you’ll stop using them really quickly after that. So enjoy while it lasts.

Wow, someone at Ebay told you the sellers that sell in large quantities get a "pass?"

LOL, someone ought to page an ebay rep here, I'm sure he would want to do some .. what they refer to as "coaching."  Trinton at Ebay I am sure I have read in some topics has said that no, large quality sellers don't get a "pass."  Maybe  I am wrong.  Trinton will usually ask for the date and time of the call so some "coaching" can be done.

Geez, I have been on these boards too long today, I must get ready for work !
