I'm in the military as a advisor for some things. And I'm in a position where I have to leave at the drop of a hat. And I have some unpaid comments about me. But I love to ebay and BFE doesn't have the internet. Great job everyone

@msg276 Thank you for your military service.
Unfortunately when an item is not paid for the seller files an unpaid item case to get their sellers fees back. Sellers fees are charged when an item sells not when it's paid for.
Many sellers block buyers with 2 or more unpaid item strikes in 12 months from auctions or best offer. You would only be able to make purchases from those sellers if the item is immediate payment required.

Stay safe out there.

Can you explain what you mean? Are you saying that as a buyer, you have purchased items that you have not paid for?
If so, the solution to that going forward is to stop bidding on auctions if you are not sure you will be there to pay, and only buy fixed priced items and pay for those immediately.

Thank you for your service in whatever capacity it is. You must also realize that your individual situation or compromises don't have to affect others. Your reasons for having to quickly leave may be valid but it doesn't compensate the seller for what they are now out of pocket on. Sellers have to pay fees when an item sells and the only way to get SOME of those fees reimbursed is by opening an item not paid against a buyer who, didn't pay. It's nothing personal against you as a buyer, it's just business in the end. Best of luck to you....

You can always retract your bid before the item closes it only take seconds.
