Ebay keeps changing my “accept offers” setting

Ebay keeps changing my setting on items for sale to accept offers when i have deliberately set then to not accept offers. THIS IS HURTING MY POTENTIAL SALES - NOT HELPING!!!!!!

 

STOP DOING THIS OR I WILL TAKE MY BUSINESS TO AMAZON SO THAT JEFF BEZOS CAN BE RICHER!!!!

Ebay keeps changing my setting on items for sale to accept offers when i have deliberately set then to not accept offers. THIS IS HURTING MY POTENTIAL SALES - NOT HELPING!!!!!!

 

Yes, ebay does that now.  In the beginning it was a function of using a mobile app, or the abbreviated (not advanced)  sell form.  Now they add it for you regardless.  It was said it had to due with your "price" and "tenure" as a seller.   If you are "in" their new invisible program, you can go in and remove the option, but it will likely just reappear.  You can still set the "auto decline" amount.

This has been going for years.  

 

Maybe you could respond to any offers and explain that the make offer button was put on without your consent or knowledge.  Tell these potential buyers that you have priced your items fairly and cannot go any lower.  Perhaps they will buy it anyway.  

 

Also if you get a ridiculous offer or strange message, this may be your chance to weed out the problem buyers before they make the purchase.  

 

Fyi, most responders here are eBay users like you.  They are not employees so your message may never be seen by eBay.
