Ebay items no longer being promoted (help needed)

Hi, recently my items have stopped being promoted by ebay and I don't know why. I went from 1 million promoted impressions to near 0. views also fell from 1000s to zero aswell. did anyone else ever have this issue and is there anyway to fix this? my items also do not show the sponsored tag when i search for them in search

hard to say, usually when this happens with my own PL's I try to investigate every possible reason first, but in your case, most any issue won't cause the prolonged flatlining. I can see where you ended and created a new campaign Jun 3 - 5 - where your graph shows the sudden large spike increase to impressions, then total fall again... i would just end and create a new campaign day later. It's nothing YOUR doing in particular, it's the system seeing something it doesn't like and causing a glitch that makes your PL's crash... can't know or look into the system so the only way to correct things is to do new campaign.  On side note, don't think too much into the cause, I myself have had the issue where ended and created a new and things fell a day or so later again, just simply ended and created a new again. If your views are normally high it won't matter to end and wait a day to start a new campaign. In retrospect, your still getting the views but ebay's new way of counting those views are greatly false and flawed. I had over 50 people visit listings to test view counts and ebay only counted a small fraction as views...so I say, people are viewing the listings, ebay just isn't counting all of them.

ok thanks for the advice. Should I wait a full 24 hours or how long do you recommend to wait before restarting a campaign

there is no "standard" wait time, I personally wait like a day - doesn't mean have to, but give it some time - allow the system to clear out the old campaign deletion. Usually after few min you'll no longer see the promotion percentage in the promoted bracket on your listings page, but I would wait several hours before creating a new anyways. Hopefully it solves your flatlining issue, should.

Ill try this and keep you posted. Ive never had less promoted impressions than normal. seems like a weird bug. Would you consider raising the promoted percentage or just leave them the same?

if your electing only 1% then yes, ebay announced yesterday that the minimal percentage to be allowed to elect starting soon will be 2%, selling in the cards category with Pokémon (idk cause I don't deal in such things) would assume a higher election rate maybe needed as it's quite popular and all that stuff, but if your results were good with whatever were electing before then just stick with that (unless that election was only 1%). If your electing same percentage for all listings in the campaign you know how to set that? There is option to set when your in the listings election to apply same election for all listings, it's up top on the listing selection part.

i was doing around 3-4 percent on all my items when I got 1 million impressions so I will stick with that. I will end my promotions now and wait like 5 hours and re do it. Do you think that is enough time? not expecting 1 million impressions right away just want more than 100. Also I had to recenlty re list all my items. Do you think that could affect this? still getting normal organic views as before though

then stick with that if that was working for you, no need to change i think. 5 hrs is likely fine, just giving time to make sure ebay clears the old campaign out. As to ending and relisting - yes - it does affect your PL's, because results stack and then compares to prior days in the campaign, ending and relisting would make that start all over again. Organic views don't change on the graph, any change is minimal and miniscule they will always be that small wavy line on the bottom of the graph, it's the Promoted that should be much higher. You won't see sudden increase on the graph when create new one, it won't be immediate i mean but if no change in a day or so then something again isn't right. The daily counts take 24hrs to register on the graph.

if you mean as to what I investigate when things go wonky? I first check my listing on search to see what is coming up that has competition and see what listings from those competitors are being sponsored, compare price etc... i'll also ask some other sellers i know who sell same category / genre I do and see if they have experienced any sudden change to their PL's. Come to community and search to see if it's a site wide issue happening with many sellers in many categories... usually telling ebay did some change to PL's but that generally only happens at quarterly updates and the changes are announced.

don't end and relist, there is no need if using GTC listings. Just end and start new PLS campaign.

Ok i will end the campaign now and wait a few hours then make a new one. What results should i expect? more results in the same or next day or weeks?

It won't be as high as before since I relisted my items? I just want promoted to go up to a reasonable amount, which should be more than organic.

it should be as was before, you already relisted your items prior. Don't ever need to relist items for PL campaign. Only thing that does is lower the count on your allowed listings per month.
