Ebay is a absolute Mess

I am a top rated seller  with 100% feedback with close to 500 items in my store.  I can not even ask for someone from customer service to call me back.  That option is now gone for me.  I sent a buyer an item 2 days ago and today they opened an item not received case.  This should not be allowed as now my funds are on hold because buyers think we are amazon prime.  Tracking shows the package is in transit.  buyers should have to wait at least a week before opening INR cases.

Every day all I read about are scam cases on ebay.  Ebay giving refunds to scammers without a refund to the seller.  So many other scams too numerous to list and ebay encourages this behavior.

The glitches continue everyday.  I was trying to contact a buyer today and when I click on contact buyer, I am sent to the ebay message area.  This is so ridiculous.  Last week I had another "ghost" listing that sold where ebay listed an item that I had sold last month.

Tommorrow, the virtual ebay open will begin with all of the ebay executives telling everyone how wonderful the company is doing and how great they are.  I have a lot better things to do than to listen to that garbage.

Have you contacted the buyer and explained that the item appears to be in transit?

What was the last estimated delivery date?

The call back option is there, you just seem to have a hard time finding it. I think they make it hard to find on purpose.

Glitches happen.  I had the same think happen to me the other when trying contact a buyer. I waited a minute and tried it again.  It worked fine.

I sympathize....What I do to avoid Buyer Claims is let Every Buyer  know ...after they Buy something...that the **USPS may be Much Slower to Deliver** than they think...I usually say to expect **Several Days or More...**

and I sometimes send them Tracking information along the way....You should be able to go to Help and Contact and find your way through various suggestions to get to Customer Service..and have them Call You....If I cannot Contact a Buyer through usual channels...I go to their Feedback Number...click on it..and contact them that way....As for me...I am now Unable to use eBay through Mozilla Firefox...Talk about eBay issues.....Good Luck with your sales...

It should be automated that you can not file an INR until after the expected arrival date based on the method of shipment, handling time specified, and date of payment. At minimum the buyer should get a note that states it's a but early to file a claim. If you have concerns about the shipment contact the seller. If doesn't arrive by X date please go ahead and file a claim.

As for CS, well its a cost center not a profit center so we can all guess how that goes at budget time.

AGREE!!!!   This site has quickly turned sour!  I am trying to contact them direct and get even get a phone number to talk to someone live for any of my issues!  Since, your an old pro at this do you know how I go about adding a payment option to ship my orders through Ebay with their discount.  All it has is my PayPal, which I know longer use, since Ebay now manages my account! And only way I can purchase shipping label is when I have pending funds, which of course I don't, because they actually sent them on time and I have 4 orders to ship and would save over $20 shipping through Ebay!  I'm so frustrated!  Oh,and I have same problem with ghost orders and cases being open and taking forever to close and payout!

eBay like Amazon, yes, some buyers think it works that way, except, eBay does not have prime with 2 day delivery service, with their own subcontracted driver force using Amazon truck. eBay relays on USPS, UPS or FedEx. Amazon has their own airplanes. Heck there is a reason why amazon drop USPS and FedEx for their own.

Just submit the tracking info, as long as it in transit it should be fine. But you appear to have a rather anxious buyer on your hands, good luck.

I have tried to search sellers stores for auto parts by keyword and get zero results, even though they clearly have the keywords listed. This problem may be limited to auto parts.

I was looking for a simple action to send all of my buy it now items to auction and don't see one.

This is the way it SHOULD work but it doesn't and eBay can't seem to fix that problem which has existed for awhile. If you have concerns about the shipment contact the seller.
