Ebay emailing item viewers?

Im wondering, after someone views your item, how often does email communicate with them through follow up emails? This is key to making a sale if reminds the buyer to buy

also if you change the price, are viewers notified through email or only watchers

Actually, most buying is impulse buying.   I like it, I have convinced myself that I have to have it, so I bid.

When I buy an item, I receive an order confirmation email from eBay, then an email when the item is shipped, and a final email when the package has been delivered--three total.

I would consider any more emails than that to be spam and a complete waste of my time

Just because someone looks at one of your listings, doesn't mean they are interested in buying the item.

If they are just looking, why would you want to send an email reminding them to pay?
