Ebay delists my item then allows item to be relisted again and then delists again!

Has anyone ever had such an incident? I am currently waiting for the decision.

What was the item? Could you give a screenshot of the listing?

Sometimes ebay will automatically remove items/listings when it sees a word/keyword that is part of it's prohibited items policy.

I am not an eBay employee but I sure feel like one sometimes

@pierreofparis-us

What was the reason given for the takedown?

Did you just relist it as it was in the previous listing?

If it was removed for some listing violation I would not relist it. Ebay has been known to take more serious action, like account suspension, when you continue to relist it.

It happened to me, when I call eBay they didn't give me good reason at the same time there were another sellers the list same items and same pictures, so I relisted and I took photo by my phone for the item and the accepted.

Whatever you do! Don’t relist!!

It is a known occurrence—eBay removes a listing for some policy violation. Then the seller calls Customer Service to ask about the suspended listing, only to be told that eBay “removed it in error “ (or some such), and “go ahead and relist.”

And boom, it gets removed again.

Only now you are considered a multi-violation seller, and are penalized by eBay for following the bad advice of a CS rep. Each time a listing gets removed, the tally goes up, as do the penalties.

Below is the policy link to Removed Listings, for your perusal.

I believe you are very confused. If you where able to relist that does not mean it was OK to relist. Don't try it again or it is possible ebay will ban you from selling again.

Ebay took your listing down because it was a violation of some sort, check your emails. They did not allow it to be listed again if they took it down again, you decided to try to sneak it back in.  They can only remove a listing after it's been put up....   You're headed for a permanent suspension.

Ebay doesn't de-list without telling you WHY.

What was the reason?

Did you correct the problem before re-listing?

If not and you re-listed, that's probably why they de-listed you again.
