Ebay customer service is a bad joke!

They make it so easy to buy, but when something doesn't arrive, it is almost impossible to get help. (I figured it out once, but it's so hidden, I cannot figure it out again). When I click on the item I haven't received, a blue box pops up, with the item and order #, but no way to move forward getting my money back. The ONLY option is the close out the blue box, with the X in the top right corner. So you do, and  it closes. That's it. No way to get my money back, and no way to contact anyone.

THIS IS UNETHICAL!

if they can make it easy and sraightforward to buy, they can and should  (have an absolute responsibility to) make it easy to submit a request for a refund. If someone from eBay reads this, please contact me. There are 2 orders I have not received, and no way to get my **bleep** money back.

There is no need to contact customer service.

My ebay > Purchase history 

Go to the item in question

Click on "More actions" then "I didn't receive it"

It's actually very simple.

Requesting a refund may be the easiest thing to do on eBay.

Basically, follow the directions from @inhawaii in message #2.  

You can't choose the selection mentioned UNTIL one minute past the last estimated delivery date has passed. 

You check the estimated delivery dates by going to your purchase history/order details.  If you simply look at the listing the dates will reflect delivery as if you purchased it TODAY even though the listing has ended. 

In the same order details you can see the tracking history.  DO NOT file an "item not received" or "I didn't get it" IF THERE IS TRACKING THAT SAYS DELIVERED (even if you got nothing) .  Come back here if that should be the case. 

Also keep in mind that the estimated dates are put there by eBay, not your seller.  This is a very busy season for all parcel carriers, and things are delayed.

Ok in inHawaii told you what to do. Just wanted to say i had an issue and contacted ebay CS AI and then an agent. The agent could not be more helpful and fixed my problem in 48 hours.

Without details, it is hard to advise you or even comment on your statement.

 

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.

I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.

Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.

If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.

If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
