I really wish eBay would stop changing my listings to accept best offer. I do not want this. I do not want to deal with ridiculous offers and spend time answering emails for something that I do not want and did not have included in the listing when I placed it. I imagine my customers will just be disappointed when I do not accept any Best Offers and get mad at me when I never wanted my items to be changed to this option in the middle of a listing. It's a real $%^& thing to do to us sellers as well as the customers. My items are priced to cover my costs plus free shipping I have no wiggle room to make eBay worth my time with best offers. eBay just stop this madness please.

Ebay does not need your OK. They are adding BO to listings they feel are over priced.
I have seen some sellers address it in their descriptions that even though this is ebay policy they are not accepting them at this time.
And you can set up auto decline to not to have to deal with offers
But you cannot prevent ebay from doing it as it is their site. You can just deal with it as best as possible.

They are not accepting Best Offers for you, they are only providing the possibility for you if you choose to take it. You don't have to take it.

Just noticed this recently and it sucks. I'm forced to revise my auctions all the the time by having to remove the Best Offer. Who the f*ck does ebay think they are to manipulate my auctions and prices. My items are rare that's why I set my prices the way they are. None of these items listed are sold on ebay by anyone else. We are paying fees to ebay, this is NOT lowball central like Craiglists which I guess is what ebay wants it to be from now on. Ridiculous. I guess the only way to combat this is setting the auto reject best offer to $.01 less than your asking price -- I just tried this and it seems to work..

It appears ebay is adding the Best Offer option to fixed priced listings and auto relist if you are using the Quick Listing Tool.
To remove that option, go to My ebay > Sell > Active > More actions > Revise
You will now have to switch to the advanced listing form with more choices. That option is in the upper right corner. Once you switch, you will be able to scroll down and uncheck the Best Offer option and auto relist.
