Ebay changing my asking price

I am using Ebay as a seller for 6 weeks now.  The most frustration is from Ebay arbitrarily changing my asking price. Ebay messaged me about a sale they had collected $73.00 on. I had asked for $120.00 so I cancelled the order. Customer immediately messaged me why as he had paid the $120.00. I relisted the item and advised customer to make an $80.00 offer and I would accept it.  If I Ebay is paid the full price of $120 and the changes the price to $73 do they keep the extra $47? This morning I had to go change 3 listings back to my asking price.  Why? How do I stop Ebay changing my asking price?

Ebay changing my asking price

I see all your items have Best Offer turned on.

eBay should not be changing the amount and your buyer said they paid the full price.  It sounds like the $47 was fees charged by eBay.  You need to look at how eBay distributed the money in your Transaction Report. It will state specifically where the money went.
