Ebay bookstore name idea

I am creating a bookstore on Ebay soon and need a catchy name idea. What would be a good name for a bookstore? Your help is appreciated!

Lazy Books

because you are too lazy to think up a name for your own business and want others to do it for you imho!

It's a personal decision, like naming your kid, or your dog, or picking a favorite color. No one can do it for you.

Maybe you should come up with some  possible names yourself and then ask for opinions.

Cute and clever has its limits. Most names will already have occurred to someone else. If you were naming a hair salon, you can be sure there's already a Hairport, or Scissors of Oz, or Clip Joint, or anything else you can dream up.

Re: Ebay bookstore name idea

The problem is that down the road, no matter if you do well or not so well, you will always believe you would have done better had you not used a name some stranger on an eBay forum came up with.

If you are going to sell books and only books, and want a "bookshop" name, the name should reflect what sort of books you sell.  New?  Used?  Both?  POD?  Antiquarian?  Incunabula?  General interest?  Specialty?  Will you, as many booksellers do, also handle media such as magazines and DVDs?  And so on.

My best advice is to just stick with something very general, so you can pivot in any direction you want to need to, at any time, without a concern about the name.  Actually, I think Blue-Cry is is neat -- short, easy, rather catchy.

Do store names even matter much on ebay anymore?

No, I don't think they do;  thus, my general comments.  If OP really wants a "bookshop" name, s/he needs to define the bookshop, but I'd just leave it at the current User-ID of Blue-Cry.

Already taken by a well-known bookseller from NJ (and others with the same name.)
