Ebay Switching from PayPal to Direct Payments using Bank Accounts?? RIDICULOUS!!!!

OK, Is this for real? Ebay seems to be ditching Paypal for sellers and wanting to use my Bank Account to manage payments. Ebay wants my Bank Account information???  Forget IT Ebay!!! I am NOT (repeat NOT) giving you my Bank account info to manage my payments!!   I have been perfectly happy with payments being made thru Paypal over the years and if ebay cannot continue this then I will move to another platform.

Please respond if you are in agreement!

How is this conversion going? Ebay told me over a year ago to stop using Paypal when I sold stuff. I don't sell a lot, so I quit selling until I could see how this worked out. I do buy stuff regularly. So far with around 150 purchases, every one required Paypal in the same manner as previously. And I don't think I have seen a single listing in my thousands of searches that used any payment system but Paypal. I have felt like I am the only one that Ebay told to stop using Paypal. I have a number of things backed up that I would like to list, but I am concerned that there would be few or no buyers if I do not use Paypal.

On the buyers side, the only thing that has changed is they have more ways to pay.

If you look at the payment options, you'll see Google or Apple Pay, those sellers are in Managed Payments.

Have a great day.
