I haven't seen a page like this since like 10 years ago on Thursday night maintenance. Seriously ebay? I see this on my listings. Anyone else getting this page?

I've never seen that one before. Visit our help pages... LOL!
I did get this one a couple of days ago though:
Oh, wait, that's the wrong one...

It may only be 8 minutes but I wonder just how many buyers got fed up with another issue on Ebay and will no longer look for our items on here. That is the issue you and many others continue to ignore, which is why Ebays sales continue to lag behind all of the other sites as far as growth. With all the issues Ebay has had this quarter it will be interesting to see if they are even able to show the normal dismal 3-5% quarterly growth. So many buyers only log onto Ebay for special occasions or Holidays to buy things and with all the constant changes and glitches, many just go elsewhere to buy from that point on. So they may not have lost a ton of sales in those 8 minutes but the ramifications of those 8 minutes of downtime could cost many sellers permanently going forward.

Typical comment from that poster, which is why they use a posting ID rather than their real ID.

That's what I thought when I read your comment. I looked at the time of the OP's first comment, then the time they replied that it was fixed. Sorry it was 17 minutes not 8 minutes. Keep it civil on these boards please as there is no need for rudeness.

Yes, keep it civil on these boards, PLEASE, as there is NO NEED for rudeness, mister coolections.
The OP's first comment isn't when the problem started. OP's first comment is when THE PROBLEM WAS NOTICED. It's not logical to assume that the problem started exactly when the OP's noticed it.

None. Well maybe a couple out of millions.

How appropriate is the giant question mark on an error page. I can't count the number of times I've been told eBay doesn't know what's causing a technical issue so they can't tell when or if it will be fixed.

I shop on a lot of sites and none are perfect. Far from it. During one big sale with limited time, one site completely crashed.
On another with a big sale, it was so glitchy it took forever to get items into the cart and actually stay there.
Technology - it tends to break down especially when needed most.

Not commenting on the comment, but I do find it ironic that the screen names complaing the most are the ones who continually post that sales are non existant.

You, a few other posters here, and ebay ALL seem to think there is an endless sea of buyers on ebay. Sears and K-Mart both thought the same thing. But they didn't keep up with the new big boys on the block, they didn't present a good image to their customers, and that endless sea of buyers went elsewhere.
Something is about to hit the fan here, and it will get ugly.

I'm not commenting on these posts as well. But just to shed some light, I've noticed the error for about 20 minutes before I posted. I was debating whether I should post or not because I was too lazy to do that screenshot. 20 minutes passed (the problem didn't fix itself) and no one else has posted a similar topic so I just went ahead with it.
