Ebay Request Invoices

Hello forum,

In September 2023 eBay requested my invoices of my products and I sent the documents and pass successful.

5 days ago eBay request the same documents

I sent the same invoices with date of September 2023 , and now received this issue:

-Documentation that shows that you purchased the item(s) recently listed for sale on eBay. Documentation that will help us verify your items can include either manufacturer invoices or receipts. Unfortunately, we will be unable to accept photos of the items to fulfill this requirement. (NOTE: This documentation must show your suppliers' information, items purchased, quantity purchased, price per unit and your payment information.)

The problem will not be that they want invoices with more recent dates or can how resolve this?

All my invoices are original and I have new invoice with recent dates.

They do this to all sellers, you just haven't had your turn yet, and you can make a sure bet its coming. If you can't cough up the receipts, they terminate your selling abilities.

Back in 2015 ebay demanded receipts for all 650+ items I had listed at the time.

Thanks. I highly doubt that they will be looking for invoices for a dozen holy water bottles. I don't think that I have the products nor the quantities of them that would set off alarms.

Its random, and they will hit everyone at some point or another. ebay has beefed up its vetting of sellers due to gripes from political leaders about counterfeit and stolen goods being sold here. So no one is immune to this.

What if a majority or what I’m selling was gifted to me by ex partner that I don’t speak with anymore? How do I proceed?
