They certainly do!!!! Maybe do away with anything to do with guns. Even a picture showing a gun should be banned. Toys, magazines, silencers, whatever, just ban them all. Just my personal feelings, what did you have in mind?

It won't happen. As this can be taken to extremes. How can eBay determine what should be allowed. What about books especially comic books that depict the use of weapons; Or any type of toy that shoots something. I doubt that you can regulate violence out of society.

Guns don't kill anyone unless I suppose you bash them over the head with it. The regulation of bullets and gun powder would put a dent in this madness.
Remove all bullets from gun shops. Make it a Class A misdemeanor or Class C felony to possess bullets unless you've had a complete mental and criminal background check and have received a license to possess them. You have 6 months to either get a license to have bullets or turn all yours in. Fail to do so is cause for a warrant for your arrest. Obviously first responders\military would fall under completely different guidelines. The possession of gun powder unless you are a licensed bullet factory, 5 years minimum federal prison.
The black market for them will start right on queue and the price will go sky high, virtually eliminating drive-bys and other planned shootings especially from poor kids with no connections. Only then can we see some progress in this issue. Until then, we will continue to hear the same nonsense about banning this and banning that which sounds good but does nothing. There are about 850 million guns in America. Good luck trying to get them. America needs to change it's narrative and start thinking about what's really killing our kids, i.e. bullets.
Mental health is part 2 of all this. With all the mental health checks from the bullet register, the states will already have a huge database to work from and can start addressing the nut jobs who roam our streets.
So in keeping with the 2nd Amendment, you can bear arms all you want, you just can't have the bullets to conduct mass murders.

Actually, I have no problem with eBay limiting or banning the sale of gun parts on their site. That is their prerogative. However, guns are merely tools and it is how these tools are used that determines if the use was good or evil. In the hands of evil doers, they can truly cause great harm. Of course, in the hands of someone defending the life of an innocent person, they can also be a great tool for good.
One can use a knife to prepare a meal or to stab a mugging victim to death. In either case, it is how the knife is used that can be deemed good or evil. The same goes for guns. It is the user that does commits either an evil act or not.
With regard to eBay's policy on the listing of gun parts, it is up to them.

As I stated in my previous comment, only 18% of gun crimes are committed by the lawful owner of the firearm used. Criminals who are already committing crimes don't care about gun laws. Banning bullets would be impossible. How are you going to ensure the legally purchased ones don't get sold on the black market? Serial numbers on each bullet? That, and the system to track them, would cost a fortune so you can bet the manufacturers and NRA would never let that happen. We can't even stop drugs from pouring into our country, do you think we'd have better luck stopping bullets from getting in?
