This is my first vehicle sale on Ebay Motors. Can a buyer seriously back out of an Ebay Motors sale? If so, do they get negative feedback toward their buyer percentage?

Vehicle sales on eBay are Non-Binding.
Buyer never get Negs, sellers are not allowed to give negs to buyers, eBay doesn't care because vehicle sales are Non-Binding.

With vehicle sales, either side can walk away.
No, buyers don't receive negative feedback.

Yes. Seriously. Why shouldn't they be able to?
For one.......You could show a picture of a pristine car and it could be a junker.
Would you be okay with paying thousands of dollars for a junker??????
Legal issues.....
The seller falsely claimed that no liens were on the vehicle and it turns out that was not true.
Car sales involve transfer of titles and problems can arise.
Such as, claim the title as clear when it is a salvaged vehicle.

I've always wondered about someone buying a car, especially a used one, sight unseen.
Gotta be like buying a mail-order bride.
Kind of hit or miss ...

I'm under the impression, buyers can do pretty much whatever they want here - regardless of quality - If you integrate that concept into what you do here, you wont be surprised at anything that happens - and its gonna happen...
In my opinion, as more and more legitimate buyers leave? The more the site caters to weasels and scammers - and forget about all the suspicious accounts that buy/bid and don't pay or cancel - Considering all the concerns and complaints about this, I can only come to the conclusion they are part of a plan to show a healthier venue then what it really is - Hordes of people are not just sitting at home looking for things to buy or bid on they have absolutely no intention on paying for - Its not a thing.
Best of luck to You!

I think that's a very unfair statement. We live in New Mexico, and there is not that great a selection as say in a bigger city like Dallas, Denver, Phoenix, LA, NYC, etc. What if the car you want isn't available where you live? You'll settle for less then, no thanks. Of course, this goes without saying there could be problems with the vehicle that aren't noted. But many people buy distant cars and rely on the seller's ratings and legal assurances when they buy a car. Buying a used car without warranty anywhere is just a coin flip.
