Ebay Managed Payments

I am a new seller and thought that Paypal wasn't used anymore. Now, I know that some sellers must still use it and others must register into Ebay managed payments. Since this is a progressive change, about how much time do I have to wait to be chosen to register?

**This question's subject is the time frame of getting most/all sellers into managed payments, not on whether it's good or not. Please comment in relation to the subject. Thanks

I believe eBay has stated ALL sellers must be in MP before the end of 2021.

If you are in the US then you must use Managed Payments. For those in Sri Lanka no timeframe has been given on if or when they will be invited to use Payoneer.
