The nightmare continues with this jewelry authentication program. I do not believe the people there have reading comprehension skills or any type of education out side of being a gemologist. Here is another story. My item title reads "14k Gold Moon Star Sapphire Pendant Brooch. My item specifics say sapphire and blue sapphire. My description reads 14k Gold Blue Sapphire Crescent Moon Star Pendant Brooch. Next line states featuring a blue sapphire cabochon..I listed moon star because those are the symbols present on my item.. They almost failed this item because they said I listed it as a star sapphire.. Can you imagine because I listed in my title moon star sapphire they were going to send it back to me. The only reason it passed is because I called to find out what the hold up was and then reached out to the buyer to explain this nonsense. I explained to the buyer that the authentication center has a reading comprehension problem and no where in my listing did I state that the stone was a star sapphire. The buyer responded quickly and said she wants the item and understands. I spoke to Parker a supervisor from the authentication center but felt like he was just pacifying me. He continued to defend the program which was frustrating to say the least. He stated I should not have listed "moon star sapphire" in the title like that..Really?? We all know it's the first few words that show up when people are searching for items and moons/stars are very popular. This is now the 4th problem with this program since Dec 2022. I will post pics of this listing.. Never had these problems before the authentication program..

Actually according to to eBay they are all GIA certified. I understand my title states Moon Star Sapphire but the item specifics and seller description clearly states blue sapphire.. Also the title reads in the seller description 14k Gold Blue Sapphire Crescent Moon Star Pendant in bold print. So tell me what is the point in filling in item specifics or write a description if the authenticators are not going to read it..My buyer understood the listing completely and authorized the sale to go forward. Below is another example of them not reading my listing...they said I did not list the stone had damage but clearly I pictured it and listed it...This vintage listing failed due to that and it xray tested at 17.3k not 18k. I relisted the item stating the ring was X-ray tested by eBay to be 17.3k. It sold again went back to the authentication center and almost failed again because now they X-ray machine tested the ring at 17k. Buyer wanted the ring and ok the sale..So many problems...
