Ebay Guest Account - Feedback

Greetings everyone!

Does anyone know if a buyer who uses a guest account to purchase an item can leave a seller a feedback?

I recently had a guest buyer who was extremely happy with their order ebay experience, and he sent a lovely note via the ebay message system on how the order made his grandson's birthday a memorable day & he wanted to leave a positive feedback for the transaction in the ebay system. If not, then just receiving a wonderful note made my day. 😁

AFAIK a guest buyer can not leave FB

As per the benefits of registering an account against buying as a guest:

  • access full order details
  • bid on auction-style listings
  • leave feedback
  • send messages to other eBay members
  • use My eBay to manage and track orders
  • access eBay community resources, such as discussion boards

The only way is for the buyer to register the guest account so they're no longer a guest. This page has the details.

Edit: Never mind. I read the fine print and it looks like they changed the process. You used to be able to register a guest account post-purchase but it looks like that's no longer an option.
