This is just a note (and complaint) about how Ebay calculates store selling fees. I sold 6 items for $2000 each. I had made the listing with qty 6 because I thought Ebay calculated fees (12% up to $2500, 2.35% on the rest) on the total order. However, I was charged 12% on the whole $12000 (so, 12% on each $2000 item).
If I had made the listing as a single lot of 6 items my fees would have been $930 less. Frankly the lowe final value fees is the only reason I have a store.

I'm posting from my other account. My main account is https://www.ebay.com/str/techknowtool . It was 6 in a single order, each one was $1850 - https://www.ebay.com/itm/354294345334 .

So, an update on this. I spoke to someone in the fees department and they agreed with me that the fees should be based on the total order. They are processing a refund. Of course, this doesn't fix the issue with who they calculate fees in the first place. And it means I will need to check on all of these types of orders and get a refund manually each time.

This is outright fraud.

Another update - I was told that I would get a refund on the overchared fees, around $900, within 72 hours. After waiting six days, I didn't have my refund, so I had a chat sessions with Ebay support. I got the rep to agree that I am entitled to the refund. This was important to me, because my first converstation was on the phone so I had nothing in writing.
But I still didn't get my refund. I waited another two days and had another chat sesssion where I was assured that the refund would be processed immediately. Then, today I had another chat session and finally the refund is showing up in my payments.
I would like someone from Ebay, maybe devon@ebay or elizabeth@ebay to respond. I think that Ebay's actual policy is to charge fees based on item, not order and I will have to fight them everytime over this.
I could change my listings to "lots" of several items. But this makes it much harder for both myself and my customers as I have to be sure that people don't order more items than I actually have.

I'm sorry but the most expensive item in your llst of recent sales was $162.00
But just in case I missed it - did you sell all 6 as a single order to the same customer, or was it 6 individual sales at $2000 each?
