I wanted to share this with anyone who may be having the same issue, or anyone from eBay who may be moderating.
Around the beginning of August, 2020 my Easy Pricing feature disappeared from my phone app, and the automatic listing / relisting feature was gone when using a browser. After much research I was unable to find any reasonable explanation, so I got on the phone with eBay customer service. After about 30 minutes of digging around, I got this response (paraphrasing):
- The easy pricing and auto listing tools are only for new eBay customers, and since I have been a client since 2006, I no longer qualify. I found this interesting since I'm listed on my profile as being active since 2000 so I'm not sure where that came from, but also odd that I wasn't considered too old of a customer 4 weeks ago when I was a member for about 13-14 years.
- Secondly, it was explained to me that I do too much business with eBay, so the connivence of the auto listing features was removed from my account. I now have to relist each item manually if I would like to list it more than once.
Since Covid, I have listed a couple thousand items. Many of which get bids the second - sixth time they are listed. I would often have 500 items active at one time. I have paid eBay a lot of money since March, and have been happy to do so while being stuck at home. Now I'm sort of shackled by this.
Can anyone explain the logic here? Or the business model? I dropped my auctions down to about 50% so far, and it will go down even further now that I know this is not a glitch. Am I missing something?

I can set auto-relist from a PC easy enough. Maybe the answer is to step up to a laptop or full PC to access eBay. You don't need a brand new one, mine is eight years old running Windows 7. Just use something other than Internet Explorer as browser.

Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately the feature was removed from my eBay account, not my computer. That's the rub.

I also was looking for the easy pricing feature and couldn't find it.
I wonder if this is a ploy to get you to pay for a business account, where I assume they must have that feature? I only sell things randomly though so it's not worth it for me.

I think the Easy Pricing and auto-relist are features of the Quick Listing Tool. Since you mentioned having 1000s of listings, did you switch to the more advanced/business tool?

I have spent entirely too much time trying to remove this tool. Ebay customer service was not helpful at all. They told me that there was no way to remove it at this time. This ofcourse is ridiculous. I have search tirelessly and see that the price on my items drops DAILY.

Hi, @carolinafashionhouse are you saying Easy Pricing is automatically on every listing? What is it you are attempting to do? Shut it off across the board or just certain listings?
You can shut it off on individual listings manually, for fixed price listings. To do so, revise the selected listing, using the Quick listing tool and go to the Pricing heading. Click on the pencil icon on the far right. The next page up, scroll to the Price setting, you will see Easy Pricing directly under the price setting. You can toggle it off.
Are you certain the price lowers daily? Because Easy Pricing begins on the tenth day after the listing goes live. Then every five days, the price is lowered by 5%.
PS—next time you might consider starting a new thread to receive the best answers. Tacking on to an old one you may find that folks respond to the original poster and not you.
