I have been selling on Amazon for 2 years I tried selling on eBay but I didn’t like the way they were. So I stopped since eBay have now been doing the no fees I thought let’s try it again I loded all my stock from Amazon and with in 1 month I had made 10k they said there where restrictions as I was a new seller and I would get my funds 3 days after the buyer had received the item which I believe is okay I did this and then all the orders where delivered all good feedback left and then they said they are putting my money on hold while they review my account. For 5 days so I waited 5 days they then said they have put a hold on my funds untill I have added tracking to my items but I already have added tracking they have been delivered. They said I would need to reply to there email once I added the tracking as the tracking was already added I just replied to the email the email then bounced back apparently you can’t reply to there emails. I spoke to 5 different people all awful bad customer service do not want to help. It’s absolutely awful your holding my funds so you can make money off my money. EBay how can you do this I’m not a big massive company this is all my savings in here you are effecting small business and it’s absolutely awful. People will just stop selling on your platform when they realise what you are doing it’s absolutely disgusting

Restrictions for a new seller is 30 days not 3. Look for your money to be released after 30 days unless there's a problem. The problem is you are not a casual seller so eBay may want to charge you final value fees. And they'll probably want receipts for your items.

Really? So they're just allowing you to rent them then?

Various policies related to trust and safety are different between business and personal sellers in the UK.
That no fee selling has repercussions. Since I do not sell in the UK, I cannot detail the differences. You might post on the UK forum.

I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing with eBay—it sounds incredibly frustrating, especially since you’ve put in so much effort and trust into selling on the platform. Unfortunately, eBay's payment holds can sometimes feel like a major roadblock for smaller sellers.
Double-check that all tracking information for your delivered orders has been correctly uploaded in your eBay seller dashboard. Sometimes, even if tracking is uploaded, eBay's system might not sync properly. You can update the tracking info manually or re-save it to ensure everything is in order.
Instead of replying to emails that bounce back, use the Help & Contact section on eBay’s website or app to reach their Seller Support team directly. You can also try their live chat or phone support for faster responses.
Keep records of all communication with eBay, including emails, chat transcripts, and call details. If the issue persists, having these records will be helpful if you decide to take further action.
Sometimes reaching out to eBay via their social media platforms (e.g., Twitter or Facebook) can speed up the resolution process. Companies tend to respond quicker when the issue is public-facing.

As said things are changing on ebay UK. One thing under the spotlight is "private sellers" who sell a lot of new items. Chances are the review is more about your "private seller" status.
Have you been asked/told to register as a business? Especially considering the dozens of expensive new power tools sold.
I can understand why the OP posted the question on the .com boards. On the UK forum they would be hammered over their "private" status.

Good point, @bennotbill!
In addition, eBay recently announced that beginning on or around Feb 4, 2024, payouts for UK private sellers would not be made until after the item has been delivered (unless a longer hold has been put in place as per the current practice).

So I doubt that OP would want to continue listing as a fake private seller for very long, once the payout delays becomes standard operating procedure.

I wonder if eBay wanted to get evidence that the items had been shipped by Amazon FBA? Which would not be consistent with the practices of a private seller, per the UK standards, I don't think.
OP's profile says that he has sold 499 items, so £ 10,000 / 499 = £ 20.04 per item on average ... that seems reasonable based on the sales he has received feedback for. This was since he joined on 08-Nov-24, so in less than a month.

Feedbacks and tracking doesn't play a major part in this.
Sold 10K in less than a month?...I don't see that here on this account.
I see basically the same 'sleepwear' sold over and over...drop shipping?
And "Stanley Cups' are not allowed to be resold per the company...maybe it never made the news in UK but it did in the USA.
Sleepwear? Stanley cups? I don't see either of those in their actives or solds.
This is what I see:
Those three items are the only ones they ship to the US.
Their other items, they only shipped to the UK.

Ahhhhh. So jamesstamps has a UK account, and that's why he saw those other items as the Solds?

One doesn’t need an account, just to sign in to the site. Once in, you might have to change the ship to address to UK because it might default to your home site details.
