These are the US boards. You should ask on the U.K. boards instead

Using the id you posted with you can log into any eBay site from anywhere on planet earth. If you are using the account to sell you have to follow the rules of the site you list on not the site you registered on.

Just visit those sites and you will be allowed to buy and sell.

Yes.

I am in Canada and list both on dotCA and dotCOM. In the past I have also listed on the British and Australian sites.

  • BTW @hyperrush  is in Portugal, I believe ,and may have some solid advice about EU rules.

If you open a Spanish bank account in euros, you may find it worthwhile to list on eBay Ireland, which is priced in euros.

Ireland because it's a member of the EU, uses euros, and the Sell Your Item form is in English.

And dotCOM is priced in US dollars.

The advantage of a Spanish eBay account is that the USA is the biggest single economy in the world..*

With a Spanish bank  and a Spanish eBay account, you will pay 3.7% in fees to Paypal . I'm not sure if that is true for all euro purchases or if you pay 2.9% PP fees for Spain only.

With the US based PP account, you pay 2.9% for US PP payments, and 4.4% for non-US.

It would be worthwhile asking about Paypal fees on the Irish site.

Unless you are fluent in Spanish of course.

If you continue listing on dotCOM, you will be listing in US dollars, which the world understands, but you will be forced to use Flat Rate Shipping from an International Location.

If you list on dotES, you can use Calculated Shipping from Correios Espana.

If you list on dotIE, you'r back with Flat Rate Shipping.

The listing is not a problem.

The problems are"

  • currency
  • language
  • shipping services
  • Paypal fees

*The EU market as a whole is bigger, even without the UK.
