You certainly do have a right to hate; no one said you do not have that right. So go ahead and hate away.
As I said, I'm sorry you are going through all you are going through, both personally and with business. And I do wish you the best.

No, Safari claims that ebay is unsafe and I've never been able to get onto the site. My version of Firefox is from 2021 (78.15) and Chrome is OSX (10.11). I can't update either anymore as the computer is very old (15 years) and doesn't have the space.
I HATE the app and using the phone so I use my tablet instead to update things, send offers, list, etc.
Chrome is ridiculous in blocking sites and saying they are suspicious. You would be surprised who they are, with ebay being one of them. Don't have that problem with Amazon.

EBAY is STILL WILD & BROKEN!!
Agreed.

@gloryglorygifts Oh I totally understand; my Mac is almost as old:
That was why I had to stop using Chrome about 2 years ago and start fresh on Firefox (which still works fine for me at this point, but probably not for long).
But now I'm a bit confused -if you can no longer use any of those 3 browsers for eBay, then how did you get that screenshot showing the button? Is there another browser I'm not aware of?

I have very limited use of Firefox on the computer. I can search the site, but do not see all of the ads (like in this pic). I can only basically search the site, print labels and packing slips. Nothing else.

I guess I'm nobody? I just tested it on a few stores and had results that worked just fine.
You don't actually have a store subscription, but I was also able to search your listings without issue: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dkr=1&iconV2Request=true&_blrs=recall_filtering&_ssn=tequilasuntrad...

I'm sorry but I have to say this ======= Journalists and journalism people actually KNOW how to spell and use proper grammar. Yours it absolutely atrocious !!

Don't you know, anybody with one or more videos on Youtube is a "journalist." Get with the program and off the grammar police force Gwen! 🤣

@gloryglorygifts Okay but you're saying that screenshot IS from Firefox, right? That's just wild because I am on Firefox too, and that button says 'Sell on like this' for me.
@jonathanbrightlight Since you're in this thread now, do you have any explanation for this weird little discrepancy she and I have stumbled on? Not a big deal if you don't know, it's just bugging me.

Poking my head in - do you and @gloryglorygifts have the same OS?

Not quite, but both very old, see her message ^ #32 and my reply #34. ^

I see yours is Catalina which is what...6 years old? I'm not sure if that's the same OS that Glory uses. I asked because the difference in what they're able to see and what you're able to see may have to do with the configuration. I used to do Mac support but that was back in the OS7 days - I loved using Macs but was forced into PCs by work requirements.

Mine is El Capitan. I think the one gurlcat uses is one or two updates higher than mine.

Yes, it's from Firefox. It is wild. You would think that the button on ebay would be the same regardless of the browser but I guess it isn't.

It is insane. I can understand why an older computer/system might be unable to perform newer FUNCTIONS on a website, especially if they require more processing "power" or whatever .... but I can't wrap my head around why users of older systems would still see the older displays on websites. Like in this instance it's totally "harmless" because both of those buttons perform the same thing and both wordings basically say the same thing, but I'm just astounded that the website itself isn't the "decider" of what (ALL) users see, especially if it's a difference that has nothing to do with processing capability ... just a few characters' worth of difference.
LOL am I making sense with my confusion @chapeau-noir ? Like if eBay had undated that button to flash colored letters with little animated characters dancing around it, then I could get why an older computer might be too burdened to display that, but an update of just a couple words can't be "hardwired" for all systems to display?
@gloryglorygifts This makes me wonder what all else we're seeing differently from everybody else, on eBay and the rest of the internet!!
