I must say eBay has the best most helpful employees imaginable. I had a very bad experience with a buyer, and eBay employees went nonstop to help me. Whenever I called (which was a lot) anyone I spoke with was courteous times ten and more understanding than most psychologist. To not be so elaborate I will fill you in briefly. I sold an item and the customer received it and had it a couple days then wanted a refund. I couldn't figure out why because I know the buyer got a good deal and I shipped promptly and tried giving the best customer service possible. Anyway, I accepted the return, but when I received my item back it had been destroyed. I broke down in tears, but finally realized why he wanted to return it. I called eBay immediately and explained what had happened. At first all I could think was how I had been scammed and how wrong I had been done. I was in tears for days and thought there is no justice and how could someone do this to me. Then I became furious and all tears were gone. eBay asked me to be patient and they would try to help, but I really thought it was all over and the buyer had got away with ripping me off completely. I filed an appeal, and they told me I am covered under seller protection. Something I knew little to nothing about. They told me what to do file a police report and get it to them. After the police report things started changing and I finally felt a little bit of hope from this excruciating experience. But, I need to say when I called upset crying, the lady (eBay employee) also cried. Everytime I called I was treated in the kindest most respected way and words can't express just what that meant to me. eBay has the best group of people working for them imaginable. They were helpful, kind, and very considerate. They have helped me through this every step of the way, and I am letting you know they really care about their members and that means a lot. I don't ever want to go through something like this again, but without the eBay team members it would have been much worse. So just know eBay does care about its members and are there to help you when you need them.
So a million thanks eBay, you truly are an amazing company and the people you have helping your members are the cream of the crop and deserve a raise.!!

ebay(nor paypal) has not and does not offer ANY seller protection from not as described claims, they never have and never said they did and that is VERY unlikely to change
The only seller protection is from false not received claims if seller has online delivery tracking to address on order

I almost choked when I read the title and even more after the non paragraphed post!

We would need a whole bunch more specifics into this whole scenario. Why did you realize you made a mistake in the first place ? Too much info missing and I doubt crying on the phone helped much..

and I doubt crying on the phone helped much..
I think, via the OP's post (#17) , the "seller protection" issue has been cleared up. There isn't any as per usual.

I have to be honest it has been a learning experiance
But i am learning to stop listening to all of the negitive and build with the positive.
I would have to say the more you go with the program the better the sales
I have had plesant experiances working with representitives lately and have to addmit the are being more helpful than ever.
looking forward to growing and learning the ways.

Yeah, but if it was 2 paragraphs on 2 topics I might have done that. No major in literature.
There, just to help get your breath back. Anyway, I truly love eBay, but I better A shill it seemed, cause no truth beamed lead to believe A lie but how could a lie be positive. When they tell you what they need to to accomplish what they needed from me. Which was a no problem refund from an eBay seller. The buyer has a problem anything needed to be said has been said to make it a pleasant cut for the seller.
Action in person is more.
Buyers can do sellers bad all the time, but in person I will be wronged no time.
Script Flipped, when truth shines. A seller with putting a product out with trust and receiving the best one ever had. Calls for a Call For. The World is so small and the internet so limited beyond finite small time scams.
What if they do? The computer or internet won't slap them. Or correct them. If it did it would be a deterrent and an awesome added feature. It's not good.
