EBAY IS LYING TO BE ABLE TO NOT RELEASE MY FUNDS !!

I am an EBAY seller… and eBay are liars and thieves if you want my opinion.  I have sold thousands of dollars worth of items.  I sent tracking and shipping labels THROUGH EBAY.  However every time someone pays for my item eBay makes **bleep** SURE THEY TAKE THEIR FEES AND MONEY yet I get a different reason EVERYTIME I call to see why I can’t have access to my money.  I am aware it has to be held until proof of shipping tracking etc.  BUT I have 3 items that have been DELIVERED and it says delivered on EBAYS SELLING MENU… first it just said a date to be released, then I had to verify ID (ended up having to several times everything short of blood and DNA or a freaking sperm sample from my husband. ) Then once that was done then date changed and we told I need to provide tracking and then it was once it is actually delivered.  I  have shown proof of it saying delivered and proof of everything they asked, and still making excuses … NOW they are trying to say tracking AGAIN but what idiot needs tracking if the tracking is DONE AND IT SAYS DELIVERED!!! Then I sent a message to eBay and buyer on site explaining my frustration (at this point in time the date is NOW oct 5th 2023) and ALL OF A SUDDEN BUYER SAYS THEY DIDNT RECEIVE IT.. ??? Hmm funny now it say October 21st and this was delivered on 25th of September. IT SHUDNT MATTER IF BUYER SAYS THEY BOUGHT A VASE BUT GOT A **bleep** DONKEY because they scam sometimes too.  Point is eBay said if you want to assure you get ur money on time with no issues use our shipping labels and tracking and provide all info WHICH WAS DONE and it says delivered so I did my part (plus of course I know what I send and I know they got it so I don’t wanna hear no bull**bleep** about they didn’t ) so I should have my money.   NOW not only is date now 21st almost a month after delivery but now eBay wants receipts of me buying the item I sold.. HAHAHA LIKE **bleep**?? did ya ever think it may have been a gift ? And I had one or I bought it and threw away the receipt ? It’s brand new in box never opened so it’s not like it could be fake or knock off or anything !!! When I call and ask for supervisor,  go figure …. AMAZINGLY THERE IS NEVER ONE AVAILABLE OR NOT IN OR THEY DONT HAVE A NUMBER OR EXT TO BE TRANSFERRED.   Last thing imma say is IT DONT MATTER WHAT THEIR BULL**bleep** POLICY SAYS IT DOESNT TRUMP LAW!! The FTC enforces the “Antitrust Law” which is when businesses or partners or business are doing business in a unreasonable manner! And any moron that has a brain bigger then a **bleep** knat should know and see they **bleep** over sellers and help buyers so buyers don’t **bleep** and want refunds so eBay can keep the money!!! Well .. unless somone has any advice … its gonna be a law suite and a media story CUZ IM DONE BENDING OVER AND TAKING IT FOR NO **bleep** REASON !!! rant over !!  lol (but it’s no laughing manner)

Sellers who read eBay's  policy of getting paid and payment holds would understand eBay doesn't give a squat that you've sold thousands of dollars. Your payments are on hold for 14-30 days because you're a new seller.

And yes, eBay takes their fees from the buyer's payment instead of invoicing you and hope you pay.

eBay isn't  going to believe  you received  all those Dyson Airstraight  Straiteners as gifts.

And if you think something new in the box can't  be counterfeit you are exactly the person who can be fooled.

I hope your receipts are from an authorized distributor and not from a company in the Counterfeit Capitol of the World, namely China.

So some people gave you the same thing as a "gift" and you sold both same items?...and both buyers claim items not received.

A seller of two items where buyers never received items does not make an eBay seller.

Having one new item that maybe you never used and selling it on eBay is usually not a issue.  But when you have several similar items of high value and then there are complaints of items not being delivered then eBay may have questions about where did this stuff come from.

I am not saying anything inappropriate has gone on just that eBay may have questions they want answers to.

Oh dear. This is a real mess. Sorry your experience has been a poor one. It is nearly always a bad idea to try to contact eBay customer service thru the overseas call center. They are unreliable.

As a new seller, there are usually selling limits and payment holds. (We have all been there.) But I don’t know why eBay allowed you to list multiples of expensive goods right out of the gate. (That didn't serve you well as a new seller, because you did not have the experience to then know how to fix the issues raised.)

I can say apparently that you weren’t expecting to get hit with all these rules, policies and procedures. Selling here is not easy because of them. Not shipping the goods then wholly exacerbated the problem. It set off an entire barrage of consequences. That cemented eBay’s viewpoint about your value and viability to the platform.

From the outside looking in, i can also see that too many red flags were raised all at once, and the bots are programmed to shut down accounts that check off all the boxes regarding their security concerns.

Those boxes include: New seller. Multiple quantities of same high-priced goods. Sold at under-market prices. Negative feedback. Minus feedback scores. Failure-to-ship complaints. Creating BBEs (bad buying experiences). Failure to provide adequate requested documentation (even tho eBay already has all the data). Inability to follow the rules, policies and procedures.

What you didn’t know has likely cost you your selling privileges, and i hate to say this, it is going to really complicate your getting your funds in a timely manner now. Even tho eBay already has the info they requested, you still needed to resubmit it all, each time. Is that crazy? Yes, it is and it is still necessary to do if you want to continue to sell here. Tho it is likely after this, you won’t want to. I just hate to see any new seller burn all their bridges with eBay because selling here can be quite lucrative, as you discovered.

I am certain this is not what you wanted to hear, sorry for being blunt. I wish you had come here first, at the initial sign of trouble, so we could have guided you toward solving the issues.

Good luck to you wherever you land. And hope i am wrong about you receiving your funds.

There is a 50/50 chance that the OP never bothered to open a Managed Payments account, given all the other necessary parts of selling online, so eBay can't transfer any of their customer payments to them in any case.

And in my opinion, if the OP did start to open an MP account, they 50/50 got their back up when they realized that giving their SSN and checking account info meant that they would be required to pay taxes on their sales.

Wow, negative two feedback. Now that's a first.

Sounds like he came on here and though he could make a quick buck and leave without a trace. Well this is a great example of exactly why eBay has the "holding funds" policy in place. Just for sellers like this.

This is just a bizarre post. I had to laugh. We went from not getting $ to I'm not bias etc. Unbelievable. Someone needs to brush up on understanding policies.

Your other account does not matter. This account is what matters and you are risking your wife's account as well. At this rate, you are going to lose all your selling accounts.
