Howdy, I'm not sure what eBay has done in the past month and a half, but the downturn is unlike anything I've had in 22 years on the platform. Dear ebay, how about fixing all the glitches and putting the algorithm back to what it was when it worked.

Well, mine works. What kinds of specific issues are you having?

Sales have dropped for us as well. Not sure what's the cause, other platforms have not dropped.

Maybe something is broken. Your first two sentences are identical to a post today made by @jlstanton. Hmmm...

Yes sorry just copy and pasting what others are saying its very true though everything is broken being a top rated seller and everything ebay requires or recommends is not working. I Have had them so called look into it but find nothing wrong. How do you go from 10000 a month in sales down to 1000?

Ouch! I don't know, but that's a big whack. I feel ya..........

yes it is 1 thing we did end of april was go to a fancier template with a company called frooition and they took everything over after we left inkfrog. Now I am thinking maybe just maybe that is 1 of the issues so we are trying to revert back to inkfrog. Maybe a simple template is much better than all this high end stuff.

People are "going outside" for the first time in a year and a half. I don't see pandemic fatigue, the loosening of pandemic restrictions, it being summer time, and that it finally feels somewhat 'safe' as 'eBay being broken'.

I get that people are going out. But your sales don’t fall off a cliff one day and stay there, along with tens of thousands of sellers’ sales at the same time. It’s a gradual downward trend. I don’t believe people are getting that point. Also, people are still buying on other platforms, though it’s down just a little which could account for the small decrease. EBay is the exception. I went from $1400 a week to now $350. Sales on other platforms are down 10-15% with a very gradual decline over 7 weeks. The other platforms haven’t had changes such as the merging of categories like EBay has. Shouldn’t the other platforms have the same drop off as EBay if people getting out is the actual problem?
