That would happen if you used a Priority Mail padded envelope.
$2.66 + $4.44 = $7.10, which happens to be the online postage rate for a Priority Mail padded FRE.

Did you use USPS Priority Mail envelope and then stick a Media Mail label on it? If not I'd say someone at the PO goofed and not sure how you'd get your money back.

We find that very interesting. The only reason they would change it after the fact is if they opened it and checked and saw something other than DVDs which they say they do at random. We havent heard of any changes. Its just 7 or 8 dollars but we would got to the postmaster and ask some questions. Best regards

I notice you have Media Mail on your video games. Were these 2 games on DVD because games don't qualify for Media Mail. They used to but that changed a few years back and video games no longer qualify for Media Mail.

Were the DVDs movies or video games? Here's the ruling about video games not being eligible for Media Mail.

You can mail them as First Class packages if the weight is under 16 ounces.

I wonder how usps determines what s a dvd, software dics, video etc w/o actually opening thepackage.
